**Hey all! More updates coming up next week - we went away for spring break and I somehow thought I would be posting while we were away :confused3 don´t know what I was thinking.

I'm excited for the changes, too!!

I can never take enough castle and statue shots...it's like I want to capture the feeling in a picture but it's impossible! :cloud9:

Sorry I've been MIA but I'm caught up and looking forward to reading more. popcorn::

Glad you're still here! :)

Ok, I'm back! We took the girls to visit the family in Spain for spring break and had a great time! We got back Monday and have been pretty jetlagged since. :upsidedow

Now it's time to get this TR going again! :thumbsup2

I left off on my mini-TR of our weekend trip about to start our Epcot day (Sunday).

Since we had closed MK the night before we were a little slow getting up in the morning, plus the time changed so we lost an hour. We also were checking out of the condo so we had to pack up the cars.

This is Nerea's "cheeeeeeese" face
March2010225.jpg

A little after 11am we made it to Epcot.

March2010227.jpg

As soon as we made it through the turnstiles I grabbed Miren and told her she and I were on a mission: FP's for Soarin'. We told everyone to just keep walking and we'd catch up w/ them as soon as we could. I checked the board first to make sure there were still FP's available - and there were!

This is Miren calling Ramon after we got the FP's to see where to meet up w/ the rest of the group. Here's she's telling him "mission accomplished".

I don't remember what time they were for but I think it was sometime after 5pm.

We met at the fountain

March2010231.jpg

We decided to do WS first and then come back to FW. On our way to Mexico we walked through the Fairies and butterfly garden that was part of the Flower and Garden Festival

Then they had a small Princess and the Frog display

We made it to Mexico and rode the Gran Fiesta Tour - Nerea is a big Donald Duck fan :donald: and she was happy to be riding with her two favorite guys: her daddy and her uncle/godfather

March2010247.jpg

We rode Maelstrom next and then proceeded to walk around the world. Everyone was getting hungry by then but nobody knew where to eat, of course we had no ADR's (no planning, remember?) and had we been in FW I would have suggested Sunshine Seasons but we were clear across the park. We went to Italy and tried to see if they were taking walk-in's at Tutto Italia...nope. While we were taking a break in Italy my BIL went back to Germany and came back with some pretzels (yum!) and Bratwurst for everyone to snack on while we decided on a place to eat.

I love Lady and the Tramp! :lovestruc

March2010260.jpg

Up next: where did we eat??

I can hear the water and feel the mist as I walk by. :)

This is not my Naveen.
His expression is a little too Gaston looking. My Naveen has a humbler face.

'Mission accomplished' - very cute! :cutie:

There was a lot of mist that day too - it was very windy, but on the cold side...that mist is most welcome in the summer! :thumbsup2

 You're right about Gaston looking! I think I have a picture of your Naveen from our Dec trip - when I get this TR on a decent pace :rolleyes1 it will be on our MK day.

I need to go over and get caught up on your TR. :surfweb:

Beautiful pictures! Love: Princess & Frog, Lady & Tramp, etc. :thumbsup2

Thanks! Would you believe we got P&F the day we were leaving on our spring break trip and I haven't seen it yet?? The girls saw it on the plane and several other times in spurts throughout the trip, but I want to just sit and watch it through in its entirety the first time - then I know I'll catch pieces of it here and there as they watch it over and over again! :rotfl: Come to think of it...I should have done that yesterday while I was in bed with another stomach flu!! ugh! for some reason...I watched Bonanza on TVLand! :rotfl2:

After several suggestions and many blank stares...we decided to eat at Tangierine Cafe in Morocco. I had never eaten there but had heard good things. I liked it! :thumbsup2 And judging by the fact that everyone else cleaned their plates...I would say they did, too. ;) Ramon and I split a chicken and lamb combo platter, as did a couple others, the rest had chicken wraps, Miren had the burger and Nerea had nuggets. While everyone was finishing up I went to the bakery and got several slices of baklava to share for the table. I love baklava!! And this one does not disappoint! :thumbsup2 Delicious!

Miren always loves the playgrounds they set up during F&G and there was one between Morocco and France so she played there for a little bit.

On our way to France we saw the Beast. I took out the girls' autograph book and the CM informed me that the Beast doesn't sign autographs...I looked at his paws and said, of course he doesn't.

Miren and I started walking through France to catch up with the rest of the group when I remembered there was a certain grey goose lemonade slush I wanted to try, thanks to our DISfriend Sara (mom2mek), so I got in line. :thumbsup2 While we waited, Miren took my some pics with my camera.

I don't drink much, but I do enjoy a fruity adult beverage on occasion - this one hit the spot. :thumbsup2

**Continued on next post**

I haven't been brave enough to try any of the food in Morocco. But I do have to say that the inside of the Tangierine Cafe is beautiful! :)

We took a leisurely walk through the rest of the WS, except for my BIL and his GF who went to get FP's for TT. We saw more of F&G, Nerea napped in the stroller, some of the group got beers in the UK, we took some pics and, upon exiting WS, came across another playground that Miren just had to play in. :)

When we made it to FW it wasn't quite time to use our Soarin' FP's, so while we waited for my BIL and his GF, everyone else but me and Nerea rode Journey into Imagination (she was still napping :)) While we waited, I spoke to my BIL and he said they were playing in Innoventions (they did The Sum of All Thrills and said they liked it, I want to try it next time.) Eventually we all met up again and went to The Seas.

March2010299.jpg

Finally...it was time for Soarin'!! :woohoo: We went over to The Land and split into two groups, since someone had to stay with Nerea. Our group went first (Ramon, me, Miren, BIL and his GF). :dance3:

When we came back out, Nerea had woken up. We got the girls some ice cream while we waited and realized Nerea had freshly charged batteries!

After Soarin' we rode on Spaceship Earth.

March2010314.jpg

It was then time for our FP's for Test Track. Miren had said she wanted to ride it...would she really?? She had never been on it before and she can be funny about rides sometimes, like refusing to ride BTMRR the day before after having declared it was her "favorite" last September and riding it twice in a row! :confused3

That's a little girl for you!
Sounds just like something Brooklynn would do.

SHE DID IT!! :cool1: And said "IT WAS AWESOME!!!" :thumbsup2

March2010321.jpg

I forgot something in the previous post so I'll just add it in here. While we were waiting for the other half of the group to come off Soarin' I did some shopping, well, I was looking for something specific, actually, and I found them!! :woohoo:

March2010331.jpg

I had seen them on our Dec trip at the Poly shop, but on our last night, and they didn't have my size. I had searched for them online and found nothing, so it was on my to-do list for this weekend.

After TT we made our way out of the park and to our cars.

March2010330.jpg

Now, I thought we were going straight home...it was late and Miren had school the next day but I figured she'd sleep the whole way home and I wasn't planning on stopping. Apparently, everyone else had another idea, which actually turned out better in the end. They wanted to go have dinner on our way to the Turnpike so we stopped at an Olive Garden on Osceola Parkway. The reason I say it worked out is b/c if you remember I had mentioned earlier how Miren got sick this weekend; it happened while at the restaurant. If we had just gone straight home then she would have gotten sick in the car, which she still did, but she had already left most of it back at the Olive Garden :crazy2: and we were prepared for it. We weren't able to leave until midnight when she finally felt a little better. We drove home with no traffic whatsoever, which is always nice, but it you've ever driven the turnpike down here, then you know it's very dark and boring and makes it difficult to stay awake. We stopped at every rest stop on the way and made it home at about 4am. Though the trip didn't end in the best way, it was still a GREAT weekend Disney fix! It was great to show a couple of first-timers around and it was special to be at our special place with people we don't get to see too often, but love very much.

**Coming up: back to the December trip where we left off getting ready for Miren's bday dinner at O'hana**

I've added a new ticker to my signature so I just wanted to add a quick note about our summer plans. :)

We are staying at POP for 4 nights! We've stayed there twice before: on Miren's 1st trip when she was 15 mos. old, and when she was three. She remembers it from when she was three and we also have our pictures that she likes to look at, plus she sees pics here with me on MeMom and Jill's TR and now on Tinkgurl's and she has been asking and asking to go back...soooo we are! :) I was trying to surprise her; she knew we were going to Disney in the summer but wasn't sure of where were staying and when she would ask "when are we going to POP Century?" I would just tell her "are we going to POP Century?" Well, she saw the confirmation that came in the mail, and read it..."Welcome back to Disney's Pop Century Resort!" - "see, we ARE going!!!!!!" :upsidedow That's okay because I know I wouldn't have been able to keep it a surprise all the way until June!

Well, after POP we are moving off-property :scared1: (I know) for 7 nights, but there's a good reason for it...my parents have owned a timeshare for years and our "home" is down in the Fl Keys. The Keys are nice and relaxing, but the girls (and their mother, and their father ;)) would rather spend some more time at WDW :cloud9: so we asked my parents if we could put in an exchange again (we did last year, too). We are staying at one of the places we stayed last year which was my first choice: Marriot's Harbour Lake. (Last year we got a bonus week w/ our exchange, no such luck this year.) We are staying in a 2bdr and one of my cousins and her family will be joining us for a few nights. It's close to Disney (about 5 min. to go under the sign) and the accomodations are nice, but for us the best part are the pools and splash areas for the kids. Here are some pics from last summer:

Well, those are our plans for now. We are entertaining the idea of adding another couple of nights at the end but that would put us into the July 4th weekend and we're not sure if we want that. We'll see! :)

I haven't been brave enough to try any of the food in Morocco. But I do have to say that the inside of the Tangierine Cafe is beautiful! :)

I had never tried it either but it was pretty good. They have sample plates by where you order so it helps to be able to actually see what you are ordering. It was harder than it should have been to find a place to eat that day...sometimes I guess it just works out that way. :confused3 The Cafe is very beautiful!! I don't think my pictures did it justice. I would definitely suggest you go in and see it at least and possibly treat yourself to a slice of baklava if you're not ready to try a whole meal. :thumbsup2

That's a little girl for you!
Sounds just like something Brooklynn would do.

Yup, little girls and their ever-changing likes/dislikes!! I think Brooklynn and Miren would get along just great!

I really enjoyed reading the wrap up on your weekend at WDW. Your Epcot pictures are really great. Poor Miren. I hope she felt better after that car ride home. Your girls were sooooooo cute in all the pictures. Looks like you had a fab long weekend.

Congrats on your summer trip. What a nice long trip and the time share looks really nice. I am sure you will have a blast.

Woo-hoo on the summer trip plans!!!:banana: That's fabulous! The timeshare looks gorgeous and I'm glad you get to take the girls back to Pop! We have never stayed there but it sure does look like a fun spot!!:goodvibes

I'm so glad you liked the Grey Goose Slushie! That picture made my mouth water! :thumbsup2

I'm going to try to stop at TC on my trip with my Mom next month! It looks beautiful and I hear such good things about the food!! I think it'll be perfect for a mother/daughter trip! And I love the Morocco pavillion!! So pretty!

I'm so sorry about the getting sick at Olive garden, but like you said....better than in the car! Sounds like a doozy of a trip home, but a great trip nonetheless!

Now....on with 'ohana!!! :cloud9:

Sara

Your girls are just adorable!
I enjoyed your pictures and no didn't see us in any but that grey goose looked yum!
I have a pair of those fit flops in brown and black!
Don't you love them?
The Key West "home" looks fabulous!

I am finally caught up. I love the mini-TR. It looks like you had a great time, other than the sickness at the end. What a bummer that they both got sick.

The flip flops are cute. Are those fit-flops? I have a pair in black & I really like them. The timeshare looks nice too. It looks like it is newer....not like the places with the horrible 70's bedspreads.

It's nice to see a large family be able to travel together & still like each other at the end of the trips. That is a really special thing!
