Yes ... we met at DisConII! I remember the football talk and those glow lights in the drinks. It's great to hear from you again! It's funny I was just thinking about you on Sunday. I haven't been to Long Island for 25 years and I was just there in the Setauket/Stony Brook area ... I was thinking of all the people I knew from Long Island ... and you came to mind!

I am overwhelmed at the response to this thread. Thank you Zurg for seeing fit to start it. DISers are truly the nicest people on Earth! It isn't often that a Buffalo Bills fan will get such a nice response from a tried-and-true Miami Dolphin fan ~ FINFAN!

I made a small gesture ... oops, I mean Tinkerbell made a small gesture, and I never knew how much it might mean to Em. That small act of kindness, and this thread, have helped my kids see how much our actions can affect other people. We have all felt the sting from a (seemingly harmless) negative comment. It is so important to realize the importance of treating people with the respect they deserve.

Let's keep passing on the kindness ... although I guess "sunburn slapping" is okay!
