Hi Lynn,

We're sorry that we'll miss seeing you this weekend but we're going to Vegas baby!

Our trip was great. If you're there on Saturday you've got to go to a Party for the Senses at Epcot. It is just fantastic. You'll need to call and reserve this in advance. Hopefully it won't be sold out. We also went to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. I enjoyed it even more this year as I had a better idea of what to expect and thus I navigated better and got a great spot for the parade and the show in front of the castle. We spent most of our time in the Magic Kingdom with the kids. We also spent a day in Epcot. We love Turtle Talk with Crush and Soarin. We enjoyed the opportunity to preview the new Nemo attraction at Epcot. It's really neat. We had great weather...sunny and warm and no humidity. October is really a great time to visit. We saw the new High School Musical Pep Rally in Tomorrowland. It is a small production but fun nonetheless. Amy and I went to the Princess Storybook Breakfast in Epcot. I am pleased to report that it is better than Cinderella's Royal Table and much cheaper. If you're on the meal plan it is only a 1 TS meal as opposed to CRT which is a 2 TS meal. Belle, Snow White, Jasmine, Mulan and Ariel were there and they spend a lot of time at each table. Amy got kisses and hugs and autographs. It was wonderful. I think the food was better too. Amy got her hair done again at the Bibbity Bobbity Boutique. She was just as excited as the first time. We went to visit Cinderella, Belle and Snow White later that day and they all made a big fuss over her. She was in heaven. We ate at Le Cellier one evening and I'm happy to report that Patrick now has a permanent job at the restaurant although he wasn't there the night we dined. If you go to Le Cellier, try a ice wine martini...my new favorite.

It took Ted 7 hours to get home from the Redskins game yesterday. The house has been on the market for 2 weeks now and no show. I'm going to have to bury a St. Joseph statue in the front yard.

Have a great reunion guys! I'll miss you!

:grouphug: Thx for the trip report, Kathy, sounds like a blast! Where are you staying in Vegas?

Yes, Lucee, we're psyched too.................we just have to pick a good rendevous point on Saturday...............are we still planning to see the Empire State Building and Ground Zero? I want to prepare the "rents" and determine if we need our car to move people to the different landmarks. I don't think we can walk from Times Square to Ground Zero......let me know what you guys think................... :cool1: :thumbsup2

Miss you Jenny!!! :grouphug:

both places, in addition to the MOST important landmark for Lucy:
Disney store on 5th Avenue!....I'm usually good for at least one hour in there and I know where the bathrooms are (ha!ha!ha!) :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

LYNN: have you thought about packing your suitcases yet or are you ending
your semester and don't have time for that yet?? :confused3 :confused3

Debs: Bob and Lucy are staying in a hotel and it is Lynn and Keith's turn to stay at your house - we appreciate your hospitality but I want to keep our suite just in case Jenny comes and we would have room for her      I must let you know what hotel it is so we can make our final plans for Friday night - Bob tells me it is not the hotel Joannie and Ken stayed in last year....it is about 15 minutes from your place. :dance3:

Lucy - Now you're baffling me, the only hotel on Staten Island (that is decent) is the Hilton. We really really do have the extra room for you guys to stay, it is not a problem. Hey, and do you know something I don't know about Jenny. :ssst:

Kathy - Sounds like you had another great time in Disney! Hang in there with the house, unfortunately it is a buyer's market, but you have some time, so don't worry yet.

Anyway, the ressies are set at Tony DiNapoli's for 8:00, I couldn't get any earlier with such a large party, but I think 8 will be perfect, it will give us plenty of time to see the city. Joann I may like to walk, but we are not walking from Times Square to Ground Zero, are you NUTS :rotfl: :rotfl: Subway, bus, it's too much of a pain to take your car, move it and try to find parking. What time do you plan on getting to the city in the morning?

Oh and Lynn I'm glad that finally one of the Bolusi's beat you!  Sorry, just had to do that.

I am very excited about this weekend :grouphug: party: , but we will miss Jenny and Kathy :sad2:

Have a great day all!

Debi

Hey all...............WHERE IS JENNY????? :guilty:

Deb, we will arrive on Saturday morning, early, I would guess by around 10ish? That is the plan............we can call each other and establish a final time on Saturday! :woohoo: Your ressies sound great for Saturday night! :moped:

Packed yet, Lynn???? :rotfl:

I'm around but things are a bit hectic here some sad family news my uncle has been diagnosed with Lung Cancer and the prognosis isn't good.
My uncle and cousins and I are all very close as my mum bought us up together when we were little. My uncle's wife died of a brain tumour leaving him with 4 kids under 7. I was 18 months old and we moved close to my uncle so mum could help out both my uncle and my dad were policemen in London. I'm not entirely sure how the three of them managed with all 5 of us but they did.
He has since remarried and I have another much younger cousin The whole family have been visiting and hoping for a better outcome, but it's not looking promising at present.

I have promised him a postcard from Disney!!!

Debi tell Alex she thrashed me obviously felt she needed to uphold the family honour!! I couldn't believe my score I had 69 when I went to bed on monday night, and I still had a QB and a Kicker to play both from the Bears, they should have got me loads of points I still probably wouldn't have won but it would have been close i thought.....then when I woke up I had 68 points my Kicker had scored 6 but my QB had got minus 7 how is this possible what was he playing at.....I'm not a happy bunny this week specially as my reserve QB scored 25!!!!! I'm right off football.

Kathy thanks for the update we won't be there on a sat we decided to spend our sat in NY instead of Disney!!!
Debi I'll PM you the flight details tomorrow it's after midnight here and I must get some sleep...hopefully I'll be in from school early tomorrow so I can start to pack ...the frog shirt is in the pile.........we are bringing summer stuff for WDW what should we pack for NYC what are the rest of you wearing how smart do we need to be for dinner...will we go back and change or is it come as you are??

Despite everything I'm sooooo excired!

Lynn - why not send him a postcard from all the landmarks in NYC - that would be cool too, wouldn't it? I'll bring you air mail stamps if you like - please let me know...a ton of cards would be so wonderful for him to receive..... :grouphug: :grouphug:

The frog shirt is coming :cool1: :Pinkbounc :cheer2:  :dance3:

Debi - I still haven't run into Bob to ask him where we are staying (sound familiar to everyone else, in busy homes.....?????) :confused3 :confused3
I'm also anxious to hear the dress code for the restaurant since we will be
playing tourist all day long and no be able to change....let us know, ok?
Tell me what City the Cheesecake Factory is in so we can map quest it, ok?
Am I sounding a little excited? :dance3: :dance3:

Why can't Ms. Jenny give us a Disney report, why is Ms. Jenny ignoring us? I'm really getting upset over this....she hasn't 'talked' in days! :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1

KATHY! Where are you staying in Las Vegas? Have a great time. Shall we ALL have a drink on you for Bill's birthday and send you the 'bill'? :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Joannnsie: what do you get a man THAT age for his birthday, other than MY presence at his birthday party? :rotfl: :rotfl2: :lmao:

Weather for Saturday looks good, sunny and about 59 degrees, so a light jacket would be in order. Also, Lucy and Bob - bring your bathing suits, if we have time between dinner and the airport, maybe we can relax in the hot tub. Not sure of the dress code for dinner Saturday night, I will check and get back to you on that. I think the Cheesecake Factory is in Woodbridge (or maybe Edison), it is in the Menlo Park mall and it is HUGE!

Also, not sure what Briana's w/e is going to be like. She called me this morning (she took the PSAT this a.m. - said it was ridiculously hard) and told me the place where both her parties are (they are both at the same place, Friday and Saturday) burned down. I feel really bad for those girls! You plan this party for like forever, and then this. I know she has homecoming Saturday that she has to cheer for, but if she has no plans Friday night now, maybe she will join us for dinner too. Not too sure with her busy social calender.

Debi

The restaurant is family style, so I would think the dress is casual, but neat. I would think you could wear jeans. Also, if you check out the website, the menu is on there, sounds real good. Each entree and appetizer serves 2-3 people, so I guess if we like, we can do some sharing.

Debi

Everyone can change in my room at the Marquis, it you want!! We could do some kind of drop-off with your clothes?? :moped: There is a really nice lounge on the 8th floor WHERE WE COULD UNWIND WITH A NICE MARGARITA or glass of wine/beer BEFORE DINNER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wow, I'm really thinking.....where is Jenny & Kathy, man!!(My hotel is in Times Square....right near where we saw the Naked Cowboy!) :Pinkbounc

I think we are going to be really lucky and have beautiful Fall weather!!! :sunny:

Sorry to hear of your news, Lynn, I know what you're going thru, unfortunately, Ken's brother had lung surgery yesterday and his dad is on a feeding tube. :guilty:

Dad likes expensive gifts..........completely kidding!! Honestly, joke gifts are best with dear ol' Dad! :rotfl:
