Hey! July 30th, 2005 cruise to Mexico DISfriends!

I went out with Mark Friday night and got home at 7 p.m. I did NOT leave the house again until today (Monday morning)!!!! I had a serious date with the ironing board to the tune of somewhere around 90 pieces. Basically every work shirt Mark had and all of my work clothes!!! Now we know why I loves warm ups! I am lucky I don't have a "dress code" at work!!

Oh JoAnn, this NYC thing is killing me! I want to come out SO BAD!! In fact, NYC is NOT in the plans at all anymore (unless Santa comes to visit...HA)!!

With that being said, Mark and I are all geared up for our WDW trip ALONE!! We are actually going to PI. Mark and I haven't been there since our last alone trip in 1999. Yes, I was VERY PREGNANT with Mal. You know, nightclubs are not as fun when you are pregnant... We love 8-tracks. '70s and '80s music!!

I tried to make ressies today for LeCellier, but I have waited too long. I was EXTREMELY disappointed. We have a ressie for the restaurant in Morocco, but that is to be detirmined. Mark really is up for anything and even said he'd do the Italian restaurant (he HATES pasta). I had my heart set on LeCellier. I am going to get out the Passporter and look for something that catches my eye (and stomach)!

I think I got my butt whipped in FF this week. I need to log on and see!

Well, I have no idea about the FF either and I'm doing it!! The worst part is that apparently, Lynn understands it!!!!!

I've fixed my countdown, it now looks much better............my two girls are coming, BTW, Dad and Mom are staying with me Friday night and then we're driving up together on Saturday morning.......it's time to plan, where are we meeting and when on Saturday.........remember, Lynn can do two or three excursions in one day..........let's show them NYC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's 4:41 and my weekend has begun - YEP, big deal - another busy one - wedding tomorrow, and parade (which Tyler is marching in for the first time) AT THE SAME TIME - we are going to miss Tyler - it is a relative's wedding.
BUT, if he does this, we will see him honor guard in Disney in March - worth the wait.

NEXT WEEKEND - at this time - we SHOULD be on our way to Staten Island - I hope.....we can't wait

You know I love you, I just can't understand how YOU are getting this football thing and some of the OTHERS aren't. Anyway, I was able to get that other item for you, the Wheels and Whistles, so just add another $3.76 onto the total of what I gave you. Also, pm me with your flight info again.

By the way, JoAnn - I see you added Curtis Martin as your running back, you should probably get rid of him because he isn't going to get you any points, he is not playing this year. Also, as far as the Saturday, we can just wing it, see the sights those guys want to see, maybe start uptown and work our way down. Let's figure a place to meet, we will probably take the train in. Lynn and Keith need to have the whole Staten Island Ferry experience, it is an institution. Only free ride in NYC. Alex is looking into a place for us to eat. She will be spending the day with us, I am not sure what Briana is doing during the day, but she has that party at night so she won't make it to the city with us.

Lucy - What time are you guys getting in? I leave work at 6, and we can go eat right after that if you are here. You can come straight to the house or the store, whatever is easier, my store is 3 minutes from the Outerbridge also.

Anyway, last Saturday I was down in AC with my friend Annmarie, to go see Elton John. Disdaddy - I really didn't realize how close Brigandine is to AC, we should have stopped in to say hello. We stayed over at the Best Western because the casino hotels were all around $500/night, which is crazy. So we only paid $305 for the Best Western in a seedier part of town, how's that for a bargain? Anyway, the show was great, I have never been to Boardwalk Hall in AC for a show, the acoustics are so much better than the Garden. Also, he has a new album out and in one of the songs, there is a reference to Disney...the line goes "Where Disney's God and he commands. Of mice and men to stay." Pretty interesting, huh?

Jenny - Captain Nemo and I are definitely up for that trip next fall, do we know what w/e it is yet? And trust me, I am not quiet at football games. We should fit right in. Hopefully I won't embarass you guys. LOL. ?And I really wish you were coming next weekend....

Yes, we live RIGHT NEXT TO AC in a really cool area............everyone should plan on coming to stay over.........let's make a party, folks!! (in Brigantine!)

Mom and Dad are coming over this w/e for a family get together and then next w/e for our reunion. .............we will drive up Saturday morning, we don't care what time we need to meet people, just tell us where and when.......we should probably check in at the MM to drop off our luggage and the car.................so uptown is good for us...........Lynn expressed an interest in the Empire State Bldg and Ground Zero..........so perhaps we should check those places out first...........my dilemna.............I think Jess now has some conflicts next Saturday............so...........if she can't come..........should I make Tracy (Alex's age) come regardless...............I think that would work as long as Alex is definitely coming.......please let me know for sure!!! This should be so fun..............I also want to make a fuss about DISDaddy.........hey........you only turn 70once!!!

Bill, Ted had no internet access all week while we were at Walt Disney World so he had to phone in trades, etc. to his friend Steve. Steve is a busy attorney but he too is obsessed with this FF stuff. It is the first thing Ted does when he gets home each night. I'll be glad when this is over. I read somewhere about the millions of dollars in lost productivity in the workforce during football season due to FF.

Lucy, You sure picked a good weekend to come to Virginia. The weather is going to be beautiful this weekend...See what you get for coming down here while we were away. We flew out last Saturday morning before the storm got too bad. We just got back late this afternoon. Yes, I ran into Cathy at the Beach Club last Sunday evening. I was surprised that she recognized me and remembered my name. We had a great trip. We even got to ride the new Finding Nemo attraction in Epcot this morning during the AP/DVC preview before heading to the airport. We almost didn't get to ride it as they were experiencing technical difficulties which delayed the opening until after 10am.

Kathy - ROTFLMAO. That is too funny. Hey it's the big battle in my house this weekend, I have been making some trades and switches, I was down 33 points this morning, now I am only down 3, should be a good game!

JoAnn - I think we should do midtown first then head downtown, maybe start up by Central Park like we did last time, have to go to the Disney Store and down 5th Ave (right Luce?), maybe past Rockefeller Center, then towards the ESB, then maybe work our way downtown toward Ground Zero. Also, we have to go through Times Square. Lynn must have the pleasure of a picture with the Naked Cowboy. Sorry Keith. She can't leave NYC without seeing the Naked Cowboy. My niece told me of a good family style Italian restaurant (now I can't remember the name of it, I will have to email her) and she said it is good for a large party. Definitely bring Tracy, because Alex will be hanging with us.

Briana is at a Sweet 16 tonight so I have to try to keep myself up and pick her up at 1 on the other side of the island. She has 2 parties next weekend. What a social life. What a pocketbook drainer!

PLEASE just let me sit with you and hold your hand next time, ok? YES Lynn and Keith MUST experience the ferry and the subway. Italian? sounds perfecto to me. I'm so happy Alex will be joining us - will I at least SEE my Bri? I truly hope so.

JOhnnie: do Bill and Alice eat Italian food? we must check with them, since it IS the old guy's birthday and we plan on staying for a long time at the restaurant. Everything sounds wonderful to us, but, like I said before, the wonderful part of this whole thing is being with you guys Just sitting in Deb's kitchen with that WONDERFUL coffeemaker is good enough for me...uh-oh, you better stock up on tea - the Brits are coming

Yes, Kathy, you were right - we should have come down when you were home, but, girlfriend, just to see the Wonder made my trip a success. And, get this, the kids got to experience a "Sonic" - we don't have them around here...that was the highlight for THEIR weekend.

we eat. (Bob and I LOVE italian food).

So, Debs, we are going to bring the van so we can ALL go to the airport, ok? Bob will drive, you will navigate (or Micco), I will sit in the back and sleep...but I want to be there when Lynn and Keith arrive, no matter what time.....

When we get there Friday night, shall we meet you at your house or just call you when we arrive at the hotel....we have mapped ourselves from the hotel to your house...or is it easier for us to meet at the hotel?
