Briana ~ I am proud of your attitude! Keep it up! I know you will do well if you want to and you have great parents to support you. I know this doesn't mean anything, but as a teacher, I see too many kids whose parents DON'T care. Those who do care will have kids that succeed far more than those who don't....

Kathy....I was up at 5:45 walking off this 8 pounds that I found at WDW Too many steak dinners...... I had a blast though!

My last week of freedom....too much to do in such a short time. I will concentrate on the most important...being with my kids..to heck with the rest!

John starts football practice tonight. His first adventure with football. Mark was giving me instructions on buying mouthpieces, boiling, forming, etc. Man, this is too complicated already!!! You mean they just don't put on tight pants and go hit each other??? Just kidding!

Well Lucy now you wouldn't feel bad letting Briana go on that plane all the way across the ocean without you, oh come on. Just do it Lucy, and don't ever look back! You know we are going to have a great time, going with 20 people that you know, how awesome is that...

Well, anyway, back to work this morning. Running summer camp this week. And Allie will be home at the end of the week. Don't forget, we are having that get together on the Sunday, anyone who wants to come, just let me know, door is always open!

You guys can give your team any name you want, Friends of Mickey is the leaque, so if you want to change the name of your team, you can. If you go into the section where it says League Details, it will show you all the "teams" and their "owners". We have some cute names.

Anyway, Disdaddy did you get your invite? Only 5 more spots left in the leaque. I also invited a few of my friends, so we should be full within the next day or two.

John and I noticed that this evening when we were putting him in. I changed mine already, but he has been at football practice. He'll do that tomorrow, I am sure. I changed mine to the "Hoosier Hilljacks". I wasn't for sure what I was doing initially hence why I ended up with "Friends of Mickey". THanks for the heads up. I am trying to get Mark to join, but he has been swamped at work since he's been out two weeks. We'll see on that one....

You will never believe this.....M&M had eye appointments today (and dentist and doctor..) and SHE has to get glasses. We were shocked, but she has been complaining about her right eye for sometime. Evidentally it was off balance from her left eye, so it caused the right to be blurry sometimes. She was NOT happy, but found something she liked. She sure didn't have any problems reading price tags while shopping, right Lucy????

My days are dwendling slowly (actually quickly)....JoAnnwneiods I am getting excited about the year, but also nervous. You hear things, you know that frighten you....

You guys should see the remote control "Tow Mater" that Marshall bought at the toy store at DTD. It is ADORABLE!!!

Freedom of the Seas - I would LOVE to sail that ship - would it mean Disneyland again? I hope so. Although, guys, Allie Gator promises me she is going back to WDW to work in 2008! Decisions, decisions.

Speaking of Allie Gator - I hope she reads this - Alex, Pocky? YOU WON'T BELIEVE THIS ONE! I found them at Walmart Supercenter the other night - unbelieveable. Of course Bob made fun of me!

Jenny - NO, that little girl had NO PROBLEM reading price tags at the Poly that night....remember, I want to see a picture of her in her glasses.

NO laughing guys... but this morning, my curling iron fell apart, hit my nose and my nose was bleeding BOY, did that ever hurt

I walked again this morning. My neighbor is "kicking my butt"! She can walk! Hopefully I will see some success. I have to get into work clothes next week and that could be depressing!

My dilemna with October was................I REALLY WANT TO SEE A SHOW! So, perhaps, the rents, Ken & I could go to a matinee and then visit at night in SI....how does that sound???

Disdaddy - For some reason I haven't been able to get into my leaque page for the last 2 days, it says "experiencing technical difficulties, try back later". I will keep trying and then email you the invite to the correct address. Last I looked we were up to 7 teams, I believe, so there should still be room, I am not sure now though how many teams.

Anyway, been a busy week, back to work, and running summer camp this week. But it is sure going fast. Today is Allie's last day of work, and then home on Friday.

Briana took her 2 finals yesterday, we hope she passed, I am not even asking for doing well, I just hope she passed. Today she started her 2 Regents classes, which only go for 1 week (they are review classes) and she takes the Regents next week (Wed/Thu)

Shows are good for us but Evening or Matinee depends on when you all think we should see the Empire State building
Things we'd like to do/see are Statue of Liberty/ Empire State Building/ Ground Zero/ Central Park and see some stores like Bloomingdales and Maceys...........Can we fit this all in in one day? and a show? Is there anything else we really should see/do on our first visit to New York?

OK, so now I'm nervous to fly this weekend. I'm listening to the news this morning and it's unclear to me if the new carry-on restrictions apply to all flights or just flights to/from Great Britain. Jenny can you send me one of those mother's little helpers? We fly on the 12th, 20th, 25th and 1st...Let's see that's 1, 2, 3, 4....It sounds like it's going to take alot longer to get through security too. That's OK this Saturday as our flight doesn't leave until around 11am but on the 20th we leave San Diego at 7am! I can't imagine what time we'll have to get to the airport that morning and SAN is crazy busy on a good day. Hang in there Allie! I'll be thinking of you tomorrow.

Still lots left to do before we go but I've gotten alot done. The house is nearly ready to show. Packing will begin tonight. I'll get Ted and the kids packed. I'm always the last one packed.

Briana just walked out the door for school and was watching the news downstairs, and told me that as of September, Continental is reducing its baggage weight allowance from 100 to 70 pounds. So what can I actually bring with me now when I travel, just my underware??? They have got to be kidding me. Looks like we will all be paying for extra luggage, is that their plan?

Lucy - I don't know, that cosmetic bag just might have to stay home, doesn't it weigh 35 pounds by itself? JK.
