You guys are so funny!!! I love it, and who the "h" is Jack???

He is the towncar driver that picks us up at MCO when we don't rent a car! The guy is awesome. He's an older gentleman and loves what he does. I have sent him many customers including our own Bob, Lucy & boys! My kids think he's a grandpa to them! Anyone who does not need a car at WDW should consider him.

I hung two blinds today. One was a regular one (Mallory's broke). The other was a vertical. It was quite a chore. Mark's out playing and I am working! Really, I encouraged him to go and get out of my hair!!! Here it is after 9:00 and M&M ask me if we are going to eat dinner!! OOPSIE!!!! That's why they have pizza delivery!

Jenny - you could be arrested for not feeding your kid .....Tyler is in a growing/eating stage right now, that I can't keep up with his hunger attacks. Bryan NEVER ate, and still doesn't, so this is all new to me. He has 2 breakfasts on the weekends, 2 lunches, snacks, dinner, snacks, snacks, snacks.

Hey, guys, since talking with Lynn, Bob really wants to do that Segway tour - set it up - I'll stay behind and babysit the children, sitting by the pool, drinking my diet cokes .....oh, yea, I can't swim....so make sure it is a time when there are lifeguards on duty.

I'm just realizing how quickly the time will go this summer, Bob and I are SO EXCITED about spending time with you guys again. It will be so special

I am so excited too about the trip in July. I know after our trip in 3 weeks, it will only intensify it all! I would LOVEto do the Segway thing. What is the age limit (I was thinking about John). Who knows the price? Remember I live with a CPA. That's usually the first thing out of his mouth. Don't get me wrong, he spoils me and is gracious to me, but he ALWAYS asks that question first.

You should see my blinds I hung. I actually hung one of those vertical kind over our patio doors and it looks awesome! (I don't really like that type, but it's the kids playroom, so style isn't the issue). I actually got it perfectly level too!! My drill/driver ran out of juice and I got frustrated, but I just did it all by hand!! If Mark would have tried, there would be holes everywhere!!

Tell Mark, that Lucy will sit with him at ESPN and watch a sports event while you go on the Segway.....anything for a friend, Jenny. I can enjoy any sport event for a limit of 2 hours (except RACING!)

OH, instead of working in the house yesterday, guess what I made?
Cookies - cutouts...yes, from scratch.....of Abe Lincoln and George Washington, and, of course, Mickey Mouse.....all American.....
feel kindof weird though, biting off Abe's head!!!!!

Today, big time grocery shopping at Walmart supercenter, AGAIN!

Here's the Segway info!

It's $80 and runs at 8:30 and 9:30 a.m. I assume that means it's 60 minutes, but not for sure on that one. Didn't Lynn and Keith do this? If I remember, they really had a blast!!! You were right, Lucy, the age limit is 16, but must have consent up to 18.

I would like to do this, but I will have to see......... It definitely depends on the kids. Mark (bless his heart) really freaks out with all three. He's pretty good with one or maybe two. He has always been up front with me about that long before we decided to have M&M. John isn't a problem, but can be a stinker when he is around his sibs. He kind of pushes Marshall's buttons and that's not hard. (I need to fill you in on Marshall sometime).

We probably need a count of those interested.

I know when we are there next month that she will talk Mark into taking her to the Bibidy Bobidy Boutique that they just opened in DTD. She was all over the other brand of one that they had in DTD at DL. They do their hair up and make up, etc. YECK!! However, she IS the princess...

Mallory likes anyone who gives her "girly" attention. She is all over me all the time about not wearing dresses and having short hair!!

Do the Segway thingy. It's 2 hours, one hour in the classroom and then an hour going around world showcase before it is open to the public.
We did the earlier tour which meant there were no people to dodge through, World showcase usually opens at 11.
The instructors were really patient even with me and I was the dunce of the class without a doubt!!
The hour in class went really quickly we were shown a short video clip had some safety stuff explained to us then we each got on a Segway, we practised straight lines first, then a circle, then slaloms. Then we did ramps and hills.
Next a short loo stop ( sorry I mean bathroom break!)
Then we went out on World showcase and in each country they gave us a little information and a task/challenge to complete on our segway.
We had a little freetime and photo oportunity in Italy and then finish the circuit.
It was a lot of fun and a new experience, people either grin at you , stare or wave, by the end even I was confident to wave back (don't ask Keith about the photographer!)
They give you a really neat pin to commemorate your tour and I'd say it was one of the best things I've done at Disney... you also have to do the illuminations cruise, it's not too expensive when split between lots of you and it's a cool way to see the illuminations.. but if i could only do one Segway every time!

This is my plea to Captain Nemo, Mrs. Nemo and family, JT & lovely wife- our reunion just won't be the same without you guys there. You can never have too many times at WDW!!
Besides, this will be diffferent. Sure we will be doing the parks, but we are also looking forward to just chillin and drinkin! It will be just like a "land" version of the cruise (except you get a bill after dinner ). Anyway, definitely think about it- we're hoping to see ya!!!
Also Kathy- Can't you "sneak" away from Chincoteaque (spelling) and join us for the weekend? We would sure like to see you too.

We just got back from Wintergreen late this afternoon. We skied yesterday and went tubing this morning. Owen is really turning into a good skier. It snowed for a bit yesterday morning. We haven't had any snow this year so the kids really enjoyed it.

Ted worked this weekend. I even left him a list of "honey do's" if he got bored. He actually got through a couple of them! Jenny, I can relate to your post about Mark's lack of handyman talent. Ted is right there with him. His projects are few and far between for good reason.

Ted's citation for "following to closely" from the accident was dismissed last week thanks to the recall letter from Mercedes. Our insurance company (after some not so gently nudging from me) is hiring a mechanical expert to look over Ted's car to determine if any braking problem indeed exists which could have caused the accident. If so, we'll go from there...if not, at least we'll know for sure. He should get the car back from the autobody shop in the next couple of days.

Bob, Good to hear from you! I really wish that we could join you all in July but since well be there in August and then again in October, we just can't do it. Are you going to be passing through our neck of the woods on your way down or back? We'd love to see you and Lucy and Tyler. JoAnn? Jenny? Lucy, I will see you at WDW in October, right? How far out can you book the Segway tour? I would suggest booking it as soon as you can since it sells out quickly. I agree with Lynne; I would choose the Segway Tour over the Illuminations Cruise.

JoAnn, good luck with your leg procedure. I can't wait for DCL to release info about the Med cruises. Have you given anymore thought to which date you'll book?

I'm a little sore from skiing/tubing. I'm going to go soak in the tub.

Boy, you take a day or two off and all "heck" breaks loose around here!! I feel like I missed about ten conversations!!

I think, that maybe D&M are in WDW this weekend. I seem to remember that they are going down at the end of February?! If not, they're busy getting ready?!

Definitely put Ken & I in for the Segway tour count. We really should book it as soon as we can. There is a thread on this tour somewhere on the DISboards. Ken tried the Segway on our first DCL 7 day years ago and he liked it! I remember the picture of Keith in Lynn's report or pics also. That is something we really want to do. I'll see what we have to do and if we can book now. Illuminations also has many tours and I think we can find one to fit our group size. It sounds like a cool way to enjoy that show!

Hey, Kathy, I keep jumping around with the dates for the 2007. I did get my school calendar and there is a slim chance we could go in June. However, I don't think I can book like that b/c if we get a bunch of snowdays, I'd have to cancel or postpone which would be a mess. If I book late July, I may run into a conflict with Jessica's school schedule. However, there is always the conflict of Tara's school schedule?! So I have to wait for the definite dates and then decide. I would to sail with Lynn & Keith if I could figure it out and I know they are late July people. I know you are early June but I'm pretty sure that's impossible! Keep me posted on your latest plans and we'll see!

I'll see what info I can find out about the tours and get back to everyone.

Now would not be the time to break the news to Mark that I want to take an $80 tour!!! I really want to go, so maybe when you check, see about cancellation policy?? That way, if I don't end up going, there's no penalty.

As far as the Illuminations Cruise, we probably won't do that. That's something my family would be so-so on. That works out nice for you guys because of the limit of people to go on one boat. I think the limit is 10 and we'd fill 1/2 of the boat! Go for it guys!!!

Lucy, does that mean I can have a date with Bob if I do the Segways?? How 'bout it "Big Boy"?? I know you're out there lurking!!

The leg procedure is finally over........I had to wait an hour in the office before they saw me. Good news and bad news..............I only have to wear the compression stockings for two weeks (day and night) instead of three! Is that good news? Anyway, the light is at the end of the tunnel. I can't wait and THANKS FOR ASKING!

I wonder if our long lost friends, Debi, Alex and family will ever write back??

I still haven't checked the website about the Segway tour. I'll check tomorrow (I took off to rest.......... )
