I am so proud of myself. I have a turkey in the oven. I bought it Thanksgiving, but we were only home one day, so it was still in the freezer. Considering I don't cook, this is a milestone! I usually do this once a year, but it still thrills the hubby!!!

Mark is watching "Fever Pitch" AGAIN this morning (third time this weekend)!! I bought it for him Friday. He says it 's the story of him only with the Reds. I'd have to agree, except in the movie his girl is thin, cute and makes a lot of $$!!!!!! If you haven't seen the movie it's a cute one. Next it's tax time! He is doing ours and I am doing my mom's. Have to get all this stuff out of the way before spring training begins!!!

I KNOW Bob is reading this from work!

Unfortunately, for HIM, Jenny, Bob USUALLY does "it" on his day off, but he won't have off again until Friday, so it is up to me.

You know, people, this is a THREAT! I'm not going to talk to any of you anymore till we hear from some of the other folk (me, NOT talk )

Before I sign off, now that the turkey is in the oven, what are you going to do next?

Well, the turkey was awesome if I may say so myself!!! Mark liked it, but the guy never gets descent meals, so he wouldn't know a good from a bad meal!!!

I piddled all day just picking up and moving stuff. I worked on laundry and still see four loads yet just to start. I also have one load in each washer and one in each dryer!! Mark did our taxes today, and now he is watching Fever Pitch AGAIN!! (fourth time today!!).

John played ball today so we took some time out to go and watch. He had 8 points (two three pointers ).

Got that house cleaned up yet Lucy??? Did you get my e-mail?

Hi everyone!

Our family went to NYC and stayed at the Marriott Marquis for my birthday! We saw Hairspray and Rent with the girls . They loved both but their favorite was Rent. We walked a lot both days (the weather was warmer than our last trip .) We've visited with them three times on the last three weekends. I'm exhausted (and poor!)

Hey, Jenny, my student teacher is a little tentative, I've been giving her more duties each week. She wants to "team teach." Clearly, I'm not good at this! Since my group is a challenge this year, she's been a big help. She'll be there until mid-April.

Deb, we are still going down in April (9-13.) If we do go back it would only be for the weekend in late July. I just need a reminder about the dates (Jenny, Lucy?) I'll see what I can do about a babysitter, Jenny!

Last week was nuts at school....did I mention that I blew up the microwave in the faculty lounge ? Anyone else have an interesting anecdote from last week? Never a dull moment around here!!

Jenny - You guys can crash at our house any time, just let us know when. We would love to see a game with you, Micco and I were just talking about that the other day, how we had never been to Yankee stadium. Lucy and Bob - You guys are welcome to crash here too.

JoAnn - In NYC and you didn't call, let's see Micco and I were at the Garden Saturday afternoon for the Ranger game with my sister and BIL and then went to Grammercy 24 on 3rd Ave for dinner. Shame on you, we could have met!!!

Well we have our ressies set for the end of Feb to go to WDW, we will be there the 24th through the 27th. Right now I am looking to also book the April trip, I got a decent airfare on Continental, just have to check and see if I can find rooms in a Value or Moderate at this point, I know that is a busy week. Will keep you posted about that.

Our summer dates for the Fisher family are July 23-Aug. 2 (I think the 2nd is right). We will be at the BWV for the whole trip. I am trying to get Lucy, Bob and Tyler to stay there too!

Debi Thanks for the open invite. We will definitely talk closer to summer about all this. I need to get John's baseball off the ground first and see how the schedule is. I, personally want to just go. Heck, it's YANKEE STADIUM!!! I am sure missing a little league game won't be too tramatic!!! When is school out there?

No info on ports of call, pricing or when DCL will open up booking. I'm going to initially book 6-16 June and 16-27 June so I will have all of my bases covered if the ports of call are very different between the 10 and 11-night itineraries. We'll then choose which itinerary suits us best and either tour Europe before or after which ever cruise we end up on.

I'm sure it will be all over the boards very soon...but you heard it here first.

I was editing my post to include our travel plans while you were posting. If we weren't moving next summer I'd be on the 18 August transatlantic with 10 days in Europe before the cruise. Ugh!

At this point, I can't book until late June and then we'd have to be back by early August (my school schedule and Jessica's Varsity Field Hockey schedule.) July 7th or July 18th would be best for us. I know that doesn't fit Lynn's school schedule but we are really limited here !I'm still determined to go, but of course, we need the details!

Sorry, DEbi, we changed our plans about 20 times, I wish we had seen you guys, my fault. [First we were going the whole weekend, then the girls just came up Sat afternoon, then Ken and Jess were leaving early, then they didn't......] I'm planning on staying home for at least 2 months. You're welcome to come down and visit, though!! (We could gamble in AC?!)

Still working on end of July, thx for the dates, Jenny. We're definitely in for April and then 50/50 for July! Lynn and Keith, push back your NYC trip and add WDW on!!

It sounds like you had a great weekend in NYC. I would love to stay at the Marriott Marquis with Ted for a weekend with no kids. I haven't spent much time in the city and I'd like to get up there before we head West next year.

We'll most likely be on the 16-27 June sailing unless there are very different itineraries between the 10 and 11-night sailings. We're very excited.

I can't believe we're all going to be on different sailings.

I read somewhere on these boards last June that pricing for a 10-night med itinerary on DCL would be around $4299 per person for a balcony (Cat 6?) and $1599 for children 3-12. The info came from a DCL survey sent out to select guests. I'd imagine the 11-night itinerary would be a tad higher.

Wow, the Med sounds great, but the earliest we would be able to go is July 7th. Briana doesn't finish with exams until the end of June. Maybe with a CM discount, we could swing it if we save save save....We will have to discuss the possibilities.

JoAnn - I booked the reservations for April 9th through the 13th, now I just have to get the airfare. Yesterday it was $248, today it's $308. I'm working on it!

We're now looking at June for the MYSTERY cruise of 2007. We're trying to get our 23 year old who may be in Miami AD school to join us (she's been trying to get us to take her to Europe for ages!)

I know the details aren't out yet, but that's what we're shooting for!!

We're going to book as soon as we can. I'll be saving for this trip, it's so cool, etc.!!
