Hey all! I was so tired yesterday!! I'm getting old too! We had too much fun especially swapping Disney tips.........

Bri and Alex looked better than ever! It's hard to believe we only know each other from a one week vacation!! Hope all are well and survived the snow storm (not).

Well, I guess next we need to hear how the Brits do on the cruise in a few weeks.............don't forget to post Lynn!

Wow, leaving Orlando and coming home to snow - NOT my idea of a pleasant feeling. GOOD LUCK ALEX....hope you get what you want.

Maybe the NY girls will get snowed in in FL and have to stay longer!!! I'm really jealous about Alex, how lucky is she (to get out of this cold weather for 4 months!)

I'm trying to plan a trip a snowboarding trip for the girls.....brrrrrrrrrrr.....I'll just watch from the lodge!

Just a little worried about the flight back, looks like we may be getting to spend a little extra time getting to know Orlando International Airport. Our flight is supposed to come back Friday morning at 8, get in around 10:30, I don't know. Pray for us!

yes, about 6" on the ground. I HATE snow and cold. Will we have school is yet to be determined. Our new superintendent told us last month that he was well known in his old corporation as "Yukon Tom". Doesn't that sound like a "no snow day" waiting to happen??? I prefer 2 hour delays, as we don't have to make them up!! OH! They just called a 2 hour delay!! I don't have to report until 10:00 a.m.!!!!!!

As I sit here in my fleece jammies I think of Debi and Alex in the warmth of Orlando (or is it warm there??)

As for my mom ~ The doctor doesn't feel that the spot is malignant, however there is still inconclusive evidence. So, we have opted to pursue a liver specialist in Indianapolis. They can possibly do a laproscopic ultrasound, biopsy more thoroughly, test the sample, take out the gall bladder, and do any type of liver work they need all in one operation. We all feel we want to know 100% what this spot is. So, the saga continues........ Keep the faith for us!!!

I hope it warms up for the Bengals game on Sunday!!

Thx for the updates, Jenny! BW to MOM, I hope you get answers soon! I was watching the weather channel tonight and they were saying that snow was falling in Bloomington, Indianna! Is is still falling now???

We are still waiting to hear, here. It looks like at least a 2 hour delay (but we have to report regular time if that happens.) Because of the time of the storm, we may get the day off (in which case, I will be Christmas shopping this weekend!)


Hey, Minnie's Guy...................IS THAT YOU LUCY??? Us teachers prefer to have NO snowdays so we can end the school year in early June.............we'll see!!!

They called off school at 5:45 a.m. this morning! We did end up with a total of 6". Around here that pretty much stops everything. We get snow, but great amounts tend to keep everyone inside. I got kind of excited because our driveway is STRAIGHT DOWN into the house. I could never get out with my "stupid" minivan (which I hate!). But, Mark surprised me with a Toyota Highlander 4 X 4 this summer. He is going to take it to work this morning, so I will be anxious to see how it does. I wish I were taking it up the first time (I love to drive).

We still plan to leave for Cincinnati this afternoon. We promised the kids a fun weekend. They really missed us this past weekend (which is unusual). We will take them to see the train display at Cinergy Center and maybe to see "Chicken Little". John will probably check himself into another movie in the theater. He's a little "Disney shy" right now being 12 and all!!! He will get over that I am sure and loves it in Disney World (since "no one" sees him there)! With no sitter for the game we were going to take M&M to the game. However, they had a fit, so the staff at the hotel volunteered to keep them (the desk asst. mgr. wants to take them for the afternoon!!). Guess it pays to be a good customer????? Ticket prices are up because it's Cleveland and if we win and the Steelers lose, we clinch!!!

Where's BILL? ICE FISHING!!

Even I have a two hour delay today - Tyler is off, of course.
(which totally makees me happy because now, on Martin Luther King
holiday, he must go to school and I get the day off - I'm a little too
excited, aren't I?)

We got about 6-8 inches of snow. Thank goodneess Bob works tonight again and hopefully the roads will be better. Our development is still a mess, at 8:15 in the morning. Do you really think we should invest in that snowblower this year?

OH, JoAnn - Lucy finished her shopping YESTERDAY! (had to rub it in)

Acually, I've been working at the Bait and tackle place... business is slow, this cold weather really shut down the fishing....the fish are there ,but no body wants to fish...!! We are running a 30% discount for everything in the store...clear the shelves for new inventory.....!!
Ok,Ok,Ok I hear you "snickering" in the background....!! what's with those Bengals...?? That's not the way it works in the NFL... once your down they keep you down ,push your face in the mud...!! How come they keep winning..?? I mean even though they're in a sissy division, they shouldn't be winnig so much...!! I can't address the Eagles situation in any way without using "inappropriate "language...another Philly embarrasment....!!

Well contrary to popular belief, we did make it home this morning safe and sound. Actually the plane got in 20 min. early. Way to go Jet Blue! Just so you guys aren't too jealous, it rained all day yesterday in Orlando. But it was warm, I think I will take warm rain rather than cold sun any day.

Now as for the results of Alex's audition....drumrole please. You will all be pleased to know that Alex did get a role, as the heart and soul of Disney. She is THE MOUSE!!!!! Mickey or Minnie, whereever and whenever. Aaaahh. Can you believe it, we are so proud of her. She said the audition was tough, and I also noticed that about 8 or 9 out of 10 kids walked out of there with nothing. But not Alex, she is our resident mouse in the house!!!!!! What a great trip we will have to Disney this spring to see her. Well we weren't planning any Disney in '06, but how can we not go now. Now our job will be to find the "hidden Mickey" Haha.

Glad that you are both home safe in NY. Honestly, I hate that it rained. I wouldn't wish rain in WDW on anyone even if I am stuck in Hickville with snow!
