Work weekend in the Williams house....Yesterday tried to get ready for a yard sale....was not successful....yard sale next saturday - uh-oh
Today Bob and Tyler will be going to the school to start building a Pajama Factory, for the musical....I'm going to have fun cooking dinner (seriously...my favorite thing)...I'm excited - don't get the chance very often during this musical time and I've invited someone over so it makes it more fun

YEP, tomorrow school is closed. Tyler is happy. Bob goes back to work after a week off...he's NOT a happy boy about that

Maybe I should NOT cheer for the Yankees and bring THEM bad luck too!

What can I say, it wasn't meant to be! We have another hot day at school tomorrow (we're not off!) However, the girls and I finally made it down the shore, saw the Rents, ate dinner at the Pier in AC, and had a nice time. Today on the beach, IT WAS BEAUTIFUL! Best weather day all summer! Had to leave early as Tara is leaving to go to the airport in a half hour.

Daddy JT's birthday is the 15th and he'll be 21.......plus 50..........

It's been a crazy week and it seems as if it is getting crazier!!!

John gets to start practicing football again tomorrow and he is excited. He has been a bundle of energy while not being able to practice. Hopefully he will get settled down again!!

I have spent a lot of time trying to get ready for the wedding Oct. 19th (Mark's little sis). Mallory and I had to get shoes and our dresses still have to be altered!

The weather has been HOT here too. I about sufficated at the IU football game yesterday between the heat and sun! However, for all you east coasters, it appears we are getting down to the high 60s mid week, which means around Thursday or Friday for you!!!

John went to the Colts game with a buddy today, so we have dubbed him the "traitor"!!!!

Well, I haven't found a day off yet, since retirement....getting the house cleaned up for the baby, trying NOT to think about the yard sale our neighborhood is having on Saturday, Bob and Tyler have rehearsal every night this week...already turning down jobs with school - called for sub. teacher aide for Wednesday but MUST get things ready for yard sale.
It was SO hot today....but the end of the week looks really cold...Jennster, has the cold weather hit you yet?

Our school has homecoming this week and a football game Friday night, NO, I'm NOT going - they haven't won a football game this season and I don't expect them to win Friday night. Having a problem with the football coaches, they are putting partial blame from their losses on the band - says the band disturbs them....GET REAL

It looks like Deb got me this week...to many inactive positions....Icould'nt cover them all...
Eye op tomorrow I was thinking this afternoon as I painted with KL,how fortunate we are having him for a SnL...He has to be the most generous,giving guy around giving up his precious time to be with us,when he could be "sharing" with his family Thankyou,Gracios,Domo Arrigato....

Hi all.........YES WE HAD SCHOOL......YES IT WAS HOT.........WHEN I GOT IN
THE CAR IT WAS 95 DEGREES...........it's not pretty....the only thing that keeps me going is that the kids have to go to school, they don't have a choice, so I just try to make it palatable.........

Yes, Ken is painting the Rents house for the next few days.......

I'm glad John is on the mend..........

Hey Lu, just "forgot to go this w/e!"..........

Tara is back in Fl; TrayTray is back at school..........one more kid needs to pick her college (hopefully she will by the end of this month)

Yes....THE OL" MAN .... did indeed have the second operation yesturday, ...it appears to have gone well ,and I know you love me... the Bible tell's me so....

Painting about 50% done....we had rain delays...

Bill ~ Glad your surgery went well........... Our dear British friend did a number on me in FF last week!

JoAnn - you are right the weather is changing. I had to pull out my winter coat tonight to go out to a scouting event with Marshall!! I was shivering! It was in the 60s during the day today!

Watching my little girl today, Thursday.....

Yesterday, I subbed clerical at an elementary school and didn't know it involved monitoring cafeteria too ! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
those 5th grade boys.....you know, I'm a sub, try to get away with everything....and, when I sub clerical at elementary, I must also do nurse....thank goodness noone was sick.....

FINALLY a cool day - Joannster happy about that ? Also a dreary day, but we need the rain too.....

BILL - hope you are feeling well....IF I would have known you were having surgery, I'm sure I would have visited you, but noone seems to tell you until it is over....so sorry, sweetheart!

Hi I am here lurking sorry to worry you all
Life has been busy in a not good way here and I don't seem to get time to post
I have a trapped nerve in my neck and it causes all sorts of problems with my shoulders which is making it difficult to type on the net.
My uncle with lung cancer died 2 weeks ago and it has been hectic looking after the family
School is nuts one of the substitute teachers has been accused of pulling a childs hair!!! Not sure if the boy is telling the truth or not, he's not one of our shining lights and only one other witness who is now not sure of what he saw.

Enjoying FF now I've had a couple of wins, but never mind me what about Leeming Jez! He has had some good wins watch out for a Brit football takeover.
BTW I wasn't successful in the ballot so I won't be at Wembly, still I understand there will be lots of merchandise for the auspicious occasion, so if there are any orders I'll try and fill them.
Still working on a visit but Keith's company are being difficult with leave if it isn't enough having to only go in school holidays now they are saying that employers can't take long vacations in peak times ie school holidays!!
he has to work the 24th and the 29th at christmas which has effectively put paid to a holiday then, and now they won't even authorise our august leave for the panama cruise!!! I want to get the flights booked before the prices go up but can't do anything at the moment!

Sorry for the moans but we work to get our holidays and without one in the pipeline I get really depressed

So now you know why I'm not posting don't want to bring everyone down

Of course If I beat Bill this weekend that would go someway to cheering me up!

I am so glad you posted.....don't EVER worry about bringing us down...you definitely need and deserve some and a little pixie duest

I am so sorry to hear about your medical problems. You poor dear; you are certainly in pain I am sure. And my sympathies to your family with the loss of your uncle.

Isn't it amazing how insensitve companies can be when people need time off, particularly when you are in our profession. THey KNOW you are bound by that schedule! My girlfriend's husband works for UPS and he gets three weeks vacation, two of which MUST be taken when school is in session. That's no fun for them!

Jez is doing very well at FF. I, on the other hand, haven't spent too much time with it and my record shows! John is always going to give me advice, but is a busy guy!! He does get to play his first game again tonight after the injury!

Lucy - the only kind of kid that can take advantage of you is the kind that you LET!!!

Lynn, please just keep in touch with us, no matter WHAT! We are always telling everyone else what is going on and we want to know about you and Keith too - it is NOT like we can pick up the phone and call you (are there "tellies" in England? )
I hope you guys can arrange to get away SOMEWHERE at Christmas...a short trip is better than NO trip, Lynn.

Pulling a child's hair - WELL, let's just say all I was permitted to do was turn off the lights in the cafeteria.....it quieted the children down for 30 seconds......

The weather has finally turned to fall weather....very, very cool today...hope the Joannster is FINALLY happy with the cold weather.

I'm back, I'm back.........oh, that's right..........LYNN'S BACK!!! We were worried, sorry to hear about your uncle...... .......best wishes with the hair pulling incident..........we just have to be so careful! Thank God, Lucky is in the schools now to keep an eye on things......... School has been horrendous for so many reasons, primarily overcrowding, extreme heat, broken printers and unnecessary stress! Overall, a pretty good year so far........ ........honestly, I really like my class (all 33 of them!) That vacation situation is very bleak! I guess the only answer is to hire Keith AT YOUR SCHOOL!.....Seriously, best wishes with that too.

I'm not discussing FF, since I have no idea what anyone's talking about! Hey LuLU!!

Our summer vacation plans are probably going to change..........we may get back to Europe in late June b/c both girls will probably be somewhere over there. So, brace yourself, Lynn & Keith..........The Rents, Lucy, Bob, Tyler, Deb's clan, Jenny, Mark and the kids, Ken and the girls and I will be by to visit!!! Ok, perhaps I'm overdoing it! In any case, we will try to go to Europe, so maybe we will come up with a rendevous point...........since my plans aren't set, I DON'T REALLY KNOW WHAT WE'RE DOING NEXT SUMMER EITHER!

How's the football, john? Still healthy? Jess is still choosing her college, as soon as she does, I'll share it!

It appears that "Team Fisher" will be at WDW sometime around July 6-8 until around the 17th. Definite dates yet to be determined..... Europe??? Sounds exciting, yet unattainable with our clan!

John played his first game last night since his injury and had an INTERCEPTION!!! He was so excited!

I cannot wait to hear about Jess' choice! How exciting that she has the opportunity for a soccer career beyond high school!
