Hey! July 30,2005 Cruise to Mexico Reunion Thread

I have a ton of appointments today. However, I do need to get Mallory's ear checked. I want to make sure the antibiotic worked and we go to WDW without an ear infection. John had one once and we ended up with a $250 doctor bill!

Lots of errands on top of all the appointments.....about 1/2 packed myself. M&M are in good shape. John is in charge of his own. Mark hasn't started. He came home in a not so cheerful mood last night and went to bed.

The yard needs mowed and it's pouring down rain!

AND, tomorrow is Disneyworld no matter what gets done today!

I'll admit it, I'm a little jealous! We're not even going this year! It will be USF (Jessica's pick) then a mini DCL. We haven't been to the Wonder ever and haven't seen CC for about 4 years. As I remember it, we had not good weather our last two trips. So, hopefully with the Double Dip we'll be good.

So, Jenny, what's your plan? Where are you going first? I guess it's the BWV, which is so great! I think you'll find it fun as the kids are getting older and will probably want to go off and do some rides on their own.

Don't forget, YOU MUST HAVE AN ITALIAN MARGARITA in my honor (in Italy!)

an executive, yet unpopular decision has been made.......

the laptop WILL NOT be going on the trip to WDW!!! I just don't want to spend the vacation with my one child totally attached to the computer. It's just not worth the aggravation....... If I had it my way it would go, but it saves me a lot of problems.

So, I will call and update....whoever gets a call could maybe post? Sorry guys........I am trying to "simplify" my vacation! There's too much to do at WDW to spend his time on the computer!

I'm now at the stage where I'm completely exhausted can't wait for the next two weeks to pass, but I have so much to complete that I'm scared I will run out of time. I feel like I'm wading through treacle

The Fisher Family HAS arrived in Disneyworld! I called and they were sitting in the lobby of The Boardwalk - I can just picture it, can't you guys?

Yes, it reminds me of our group visit a few years ago. I'm starting to get excited about our trip.......we have just over 2 weeks to be ready.

I have to arrange a car for our trek back and forth to the ship. Lucy, do you have a good driver?

Ok, I booked Jack! We're all set!! The only problem I have is that we don't fly until 8:30pm on Thursday (coming home) and I have all my luggage to store if we do anything.

I think I'm a day out of range with the 7 day Universal tix (or I could do Seaworld) I was thinking of doing the outlets that day but what would I do with my luggage. I guess I could book a car for the day and store it there?

Suggestions?

Uh-Oh - wait, a wacky idea from the blonde one here (I'll be even blonder next Saturday) - what day do you return from the cruise - are we still in Disney .....couldn't you come over to the Boardwalk (if we are still there) - with my present from the ship and store your luggage in our room, go to Downtown Disney or something that day (that way you don't need to buy a ticket for WDW)....we check out August 1st. Am I good or WHAT! We DO have reservations for Ohana July 31st at 5:45 but you'd need to be at the airport anyway (I think, if I'm getting my dates right).....couldn't you get some kind of ride back to the Boardwalk that Thursday (isn't the cruise Sunday-Thursday?) and then take Magical Express back to the airport - it is an idea...... Talk to me girl!

Wow! I didn't realize you would still be there! We come back on 7/31. That's a fantastic idea! Ok, I have to leave at 8:30, so be at airport at 6:30, so we could should leave BW by 5:00 (so you can make your ressie.) I don't think I would want to go anywhere, we could just stay at the BW resort and do stuff there (maybe by the pool?) That would be wonderful! If you think that works for you, really, let me know. I wouldn't get there until probably 10am. Honestly, we could consider doing a park, if the girls wanted to? MGM studios? Let me ask them and see. I can't use Magical Express b/c we wouldn't be staying at a resort hotel. I could rearrange the driver's schedule. If you're sure, I'll call the guy back and reorganize. I truly didn't realize you were still there! What were you planning on doing that day? I just want to make sure I'm not messing you guys up!

BTW, I'm blonder too right now. If anyone asks, it was the sun for me. How about you?

We have NO plans that day.....except O'Hana.....our friends the Becks have friends coming down so they will be with them...we WERE planning on a down time anyway, by the pool, by the boardwalk...plus, if the girls want to use the pool, we have a washer and dryer in our room, to freshen up before the flight (and a HUGE shower)...you could actually sit in our room and do laundry JoAnnster and the girls and I can hang out!

Wow, you are totally my BF! Showers before the flight! I'm sure I won't be doing laundry. Let's just do the pool thing, that would be great! It's just a shame we're not all getting together with Jenny as well. I guess she's at the BWV pool right now!

I don't think Jenny has ever not shared her vacay with us before? This is tough. I'll probably have a laptop with me. We usually bring one.

I spoke to Jenny - they really know how to relax - i wish we could do that instead of push, push, push in the parks......
They went to the luau last night

Unfortunately the 'visitors' from Brazil are there - the Fisher family had a rough time with the 'visitors' at Blizzard Beach - this is the time of year they spend their summer in Orlando......

We have a busy day today - must go to Phoenixville for a one-year old birthday party...Tyler is at a friend's house for the day.....all this driving when we have so much to do before our trip.

Anyone else want to talk with me and tell me what they are doing?
