I DIDN'T work today
Felt kindof good
I could get used to this
Made a nice dinner for the boys and me (Bob doesn't come home at night for dinner, he is in the middle of another show and must go to reheasals after work).
Tyler had a panic attack tonight, which made ME have a panic attack - his brace broke off at the end, was cutting him and his mouth was bleeding, but, no fear, he used a wire-cutter and cut off the sharp edge - that's my boy

JoAnn's trip around the corner!

I could use a day off right now!.......17.5 days to go..........the full moon, the torrential rain......it was quite a day!

OMG - this Great Wolf Lodge is gorgeous
picture the Wilderness Lodge with a water park inside and you are there!
really, really nice

today, at 2:00 we have our competition
we left the kids swim from 9-11 - they loved it
they are dressing now

after competition we come back , kids change, and head to amusement park

Yes, Jenny, we need updates!!!! Lu is running all over the place...........Pops is fishing..............AND WE ARE IN LONDON!!!

What a city, we tried to see a few things today but between the history, the amazing sights, the busyness (I made that word up!), you just can't see it all, I'm thinking you need at least a month to visit the UK including Ireland, Scotland, Wales and the country of England........too amazing!!! Today we took a bus tour, walked around alot, saw the Tower Bridge, London Bridge, the theatre district, a glimpse of a few parks, sailed down the Thames River and of course, took the "tube" everywhere. As long as we don't shop, we'll do fine!! (Tough exchange rate!).................

Tara is doing well, looking forward to coming home, Tracy is in Rome doing some sightseeing today.............we will be meeting Lynn & Keith tomorrow and touring about. I'll check in tomorrow night with updates (I hope!)

Seriously, Jenny, Lucy, let's have some updates!!!!

I spent two nights in the hospital. I am so glad that I did. I can't imagine coming home yesterday feeling like I did. Mark is having to really "step it up" and is doing well helping out. But, he's still not 100% from his procedure so it is quite a sight!

I am restricted to just sitting and laying with an occasional stroll around the house. They are totally rehabing our deck, so I can't even sit out in the lovely weather we are having.

Lucy - Did you know there's a "Great Wolf Lodge" at King's Island in Cincinnati? There's like a dozen or so of them all over. We've never stayed at the Cincy one just because it's so pricey!

I can't wait to see pictures from London!

show choir was ONE point away, ONE POINT from first place, but our school was up against all schools that have hundreds of more kids than we do.
Jazz ensemble (proud to say Tyler is a member) took first place
One of our girls took top soloists over
all all the kids (we were so proud of her)

The whole family HATES the amusement park and must go back there today - noone can afford (not even us) to eat there - i pity the kids - many of the kids just want to stay on the bus for 5 hours while the others go to the park.
At 3:00 we leave for home - yippeee

i'm having, again, some kind of eye allergic reaction - they are totally swollen (and I'm using prescription eyedrops from my eye specialist) - i'm so disgusted - i've taken so many Benadryl and drops....i'm disgusted.

sitting in a Starbucks at the amusement park - why didn't i find this place sooner? we are leaving in 30 minutes for home (thank goodness) - Bob and I don't like this park at all! NOW I find a starbucks with internet service - why the heck didn't i find this yesterday! Yesterday was a long, long day and freezing. This park is swarming with mosquitos...it is disgusting......

Not using any smilies today - i'm in a hurry.

So sorry you hate Cedar Point, but let's face it folks......it ain't WDW!!! I personally think WDW spoils you. It's clearn and charming. There are some other factors I will not mention, but it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure it out. We haven't been up there for 9 years, so I can't imagine the changes, but considering they just purchased King's Island last year I am sure we will see the affects soon.

Great Wolf Lodge is indeed beautiful. The one at KI is just a year old. I just can't stand the prices. We have it too good at the Hyatt.

OK, we toured London with Lynn & Keith, what a day!! We saw the National Gallery with authentic originals by Monet, Van Goeh and many more...can you imagine....IT'S A FREE MUSEUM!! Then we went to Hyde Park (where the dukes and ladies all meet in the 1800s novels.... )...then off to Covent Garden for some sights (a non-existant Swiss clock, ask Keith ) and then some street performers, a Disney store, hello, and some authentic British fare...so cool....the highlight of the day was Harrod's....there was a tribute to Diana....some amazing food stores and departments..............AND TEA WITH LYNN AND KEITH....thx guys!!!

We had a great day and hopefully we'll see the Tower of London tomorrow....Jess is staying with Tara tonight so we're alittle worried......talk to you all soon, home tomorrow....

Sorry about the eye situation, Lu, but glad you found a Starbucks....see you Tuesday!!

thanks for posting JoJo!! It sounds as if you are having a wonderful time and to get a tour by authentic Brits too!!!I think Diana was spectacular, so I am sure I would have loved the Harrods display. Everything sounds awesome! Don't worry about Jess with Tara. They can't do any more in London than they can in the US.......

Poor Mark has done all day. Actually we have a great system going. He puts it in the washer, dryer, then we fold. He is being such a great trooper and nurse! I am so incredibly bored that folding is actually a "highlight"!! OMG what is the world coming to???

WELCOME HOME LUCY, BOB AND TYLER!! Maybe your trip to Southern Ohio will be more exciting????

We are at the airport, horrible weather today....we saw the crown jewels and toured the Tower......we have only 2 hours until departure, the Advil PM really worked so I'm trying it again!!! About a 7 hour flight, great trip, I highly recommend it (in summer)

I heard we were supposed to get good weather in our area this weekend? How's in been?

Lucy is going to come to Jess's game in Allentown, right Lucy?
