first.......CONGRATULATIONS JESS!!!! WTG!!!!

Lucy, here's your I can so relate with your need for some!!

What's the weekend plans?? I am skipping the baseball games and am going to try to get this place cleaned up, particularly outside! Mallory's birthday is Monday, but Marshall leaves Monday for 5th grade camp for two nights so we are celebrating on Sunday. And, of course, there is always the

check out that school ticker!!!!

Okay, I'm completely jealous about the ticker, I'm glad we're visiting Tara but I'm seriously hanging on by my fingernails this year.......

We have tix to the Phillies tomorrow! It's supposed to rain...... It is our Mother's Day gift from the girls..........

Then we have SENIOR PROM with my last baby on Saturday......I'm seriously in mourning right now about all the girls growing up, it's too insane that we're finally done! She plans to go down the shore and stay over on Sat night and she wants us NOT TO BE THERE when all her friends come over.....

This should be a fun weekend around here..........

Maybe the mourning idea is stupid!

Mallory and I are going to the school carnival tonight. The boys went to Cincinnati to the games. I plan on doing some serious outdoor work this weekend.

JoAnn ~ I am with you. I feel lke someone is constantly pulling me by my fingernails! It is so tense at work I can't stand it!

I ONLY HAVE THREE MORE SCHOOL DAYS!!! I am having some "work" done next week, so I get an early departure.... Mark told me this morning that we both by next weekend will have had our "midlife oil changes"!!!

I worked study hall today, but, 2nd period, my busiest study hall, the music directors also bring in the chorus members and band.....the room was packed to capacity. Seems so many teachers and staff call off at the end of the year and they lack enough staff....I had THREE jobs today, busy, busy day.
Had my FIRST encounter with nasty high schoolers...didn't let 'em scare me....in fact, they don't know this, but I know THEIR names and nicely reported them!

We are having a rotten wet and cold day. Last night we turned on the air conditioner, tonight the heat is on....Well, at least the Phillies are playing (and winning, right now that is), glad JoAnn and Ken could use their tickets.

Jenny - a girls weekend, I would be there IF you lived closer.

Tomorrow i'm volunteering again at the high school for Music in the Parks, and Bob works all day/night. Sunday, a family wedding, Bob's niece, who we are NOT close to but obligated to attend the wedding - not looking forward to it

I ended up scooping snow cones at the carnival for two hours. The other lady I was with is a DVCer as well, so we talk Mickey all the time. In fact, her parents have moved from NJ to The Villages so she and the kids spend ALL SUMMER with her parents, just one hour from WDW!!! How cool is that??? I told her the snow cones were a great job for someone with hot flashes like me!!

I am tired.......off to bed!

Well, that's great, getting out early! As of today, it's exactly one month until the last day of school! Unfortunately, the kids are done right now! These rainy days don't help, I looked over today and two boys were playing tag in my classroom during indoor recess at full speed. I said, "Do I seem like I don't mean what I say?"......... Needless to say, they were reading books after that for the rest of the period.

Did you try that, Lu, tell the highschoolers to "read a book" when they get fresh!

So, yes, we went to the Phillies tonight in a raging rain storm. It slowed down enough to go, get rained on, and find shelter (which actually worked out quite well....... ) while the Phils scored 10 runs! Then we went shopping for Phillies Tshirts , etc. before we left. It was a cold, wet adventure.........

Tomorrow night......prom!

Hello everyone,
Jenny 3 DAYS!!! I'm so jealous... I have 5 days then a week's break before we start our final SEVEN WEEKS!

I could walk away tomorrow I'm so hacked off with it at the moment!!!

I've been really busy, hopefully I can start to relax a bit now

Lucy sorry to hear about the burn I think you and Keith share some genes somewhere love ice cream, eye problem... and now he has burnt his finger gettting a bowl out of the microwave!

Jo ann I hope we still figure in your plans for Sunday... we decided that common sense should prevail and in our current financial state we really shouldn't be blowing money on a quick weeks trip when we already have an amazing trip this summer to look forward too...so we will be in England on Sunday if you would like to meet up.

A week on Tuesday we are flying to Ireland a $50 deal and staying for 3 nights for $30 each!!! It seemed a bit more reasonable!

Jo ann tell Jess well done, I hope she had a good prom, I don't know if she follows the British Footy but we've had some local excitement this weekend Portsmouth won the FA Cup. Yesterday we were in town and it was crazy but very good natured the win was announced on the tanoys in all the shops and about 20 000 fans who couldn't get to Wembly were watching on a big screen on the seafront.

I don't know about you guys but......"I'm alittle hacked off myself right now!" As you see in the previous post, the fairytale goes on, there were the kids in their prom clothes. It was a nice night and then they went down the shore for the night with their pals. She's still not home yet.

Sounds like the soccer excitement was cool in the UK, Tara didn't mention it. Does that mean "football" is over for the season? I was thinking it would be cool to check out the stadium but I haven't been able to figure it out.

Lynn are you going to Dublin? Tara raved about it after she went there in the spring. If you tell where to meet you, WE WILL BE THERE ON SUNDAY! So cool.............

Jess's semi-finals are on Tuesday at 8pm. If she wins, she'll play on Thursday at 8pm. If she loses, she'll play at 5:45pm. Then next Tuesday, she have her first state playoff game, we don't know where yet or with whom. Maybe she'll play somewhere near LuLu and we can get together.

The fam is good. Mark and Marshall went to see the Reds WHO HAVE WON SIX IN A ROW!!! Mal & I stayed at home and cleaned up outside with the help of Nanny (my mom). We also planted a few flowers just to sproose up the place.

LOVED the iris pix Bill!! I have a yellow, lavendar and one that is 1/2 purple and 1/2 white. I love daylillies too.

We are heading out now to Texas Roadhouse. Tomorrow is Mallory's 9th birthday but we have to celebrate tonight. Marshall leaves for 5th grade camp in the morning. The whole 5th grade (all 175 of them) will be gone Mon-Wed. The kid gets around!
