Hey! July 30,2005 Cruise to Mexico Reunion Thread

We have had a wonderful time.....Shelling on South Beach of Marco Island(great pastel colored shallot and conch shells); on the North Fort Meyers to visit neighbors from Brigantine(had lunch, went to their pool,rode around the area in a Golf Cart--great fun--;had dinner in the Club House; went to visit their friend, Jack who just moved here; back to talk and watch Tv, etc. etc.

I amy never get Bill back to Brig. after this, Love Alice

Hi everyone..... Yes we are back....thanks for asking...the weather was great....!!..now we are looking for summer...we had some storm damage to the tree's in the back...and we are still catching up from the trip...

Ok, I have to share.......now that I've devoted my life to these threads.......this weekend I've now heard from two DISfriends that lost a family member.......first a woman named Laura shared that her FIL passed away with his family around him this weekend in CA; then I just heard from Mrs. G that another DISer's husband has passed away suddenly of a massive stroke while he was at his grandson's wrestling match this weekend. Both of these people sailed on the Med cruise in 2007......Harole Ann's husband died, they were from West Virginia, they were the ones who had the Disney bedroom that I had mentioned to Lucy.......very sad..... .......we are all very blessed that we've met each other thru this website.......

On another note, TrayTray has pretty much decided to go to University of Miami for the next 2+ years........so..........I GUESS WE'LL BE GOING TO MIAMI A LOT IN THE NEXT FEW YEARS.........WHO'S IN???

do you need help with this one.....JoAnn....hearing your stories, I think you've conquered alot of issues....you are one GREAT mom! (and I'm so jealous )...you LOVE Miami, you kindof know the area (with Tara), you name the dates you wanna go down and find Bob and I a place to stay, and we'll meet you there (hopefully Jenny and Mark too).....seriously, Bob and I are looking at doing a vacation by ourselves in Oct. for our 25th anniversary (I think he took off the first week in October) - but if we knew you were going down, we could change his vacation week....we would also like to take a short cruise, and Miami is the perfect place to pick up a cruise.

Why haven't we seen Alice or Bill on this thread....I just heard we are to have 60 degrees on Wednesday - to have those temperatures and be in Brigantine....perfect!

A great mom you are! Unfortunately there are no vacation plans for us beyond DCL. Mark has a week in Orlando in Sept. for work, but I REALLY want to go for a couple of days.

I haven't been to Miami in YEARS but would LOVE to go.......unfortunately the Bengals don't play down there and the Reds are there mid Sept. when he is to be in Orlando That would increase my chances!

what could be greater than 4 yrs of Miami...Tracy will be multi lingular,a surf board for a desk,closets of bikini's,all her boy friends will be 6' and blond....Hell,she could get educated while she's there too...!! congratulations and good luck....!!
