many of you are travelling right now , but did ANYONE else see the opening ceremonies of the Olympics last night - it was unbelieveable! Tyler and I are now watching our first event (girl's volleyball), Bob is getting ready for work, just said to them, can't believe we are home a week already. Had alot of food last night (had a small picnic) - company stayed till midnight - till the opening ceremonies were over....i was just a LITTLE cranky with the lateness, but slept till 8:30 this morning!

on today's agenda: NOTHING!

I am so sorry I missed it. We were at a party last night and someone was talking about it and said it was unbelieveable. I haven't really had a chance to see much of it.

Anyway, getting ready for our trip, I can't believe we leave in 4 days....so much to do, so little time. I actually have the suitcases out and I am starting to pack today. That is like a first for me, I usually don't pack until the night before.

I will try to send updates from the ship, but I don't know how much internet time I will be "allowed". I understand they are not offering unlimited access packages as they did back in 05, and I believe is is $125 for 500 minutes, which will go very fast on a 15 day cruise with no phones and 2 girls who need to "speak" with their BFs. I plan on buying 2 blocks of those, and told them they each had 500 minutes, but they had to cough up $125 each for it. They are both working, I think they can contribute SOMETHING! I think that is fair and reasonable. Yeah right....

It has been beautiful here the past 2 days, sunny and in the high 70s, low 80s. We are supposed to get some rain later though.

Will check back again before we leave.

Ok, I bought 100 minutes and I went on alittle each day......now I can't remember what it cost it was like $40 I think. There is a longer package than that and you can buy one for each individual person. So in 4 days I used up all my minutes. I'm probably wrong about the price, but i did buy 100 minutes.
