It might already be news here but I just found out there's a restaurant inside (at the top?) of Cinderella's castle. Is this true? :confused3

Okay, I have one for yes and one for no. Does anybody else know? I'll try calling Disneyland tomorrow.

Sorry but you have 2 NO answers. The PP meant that there is a restaurant in Cinderella's castle, but it's not at DL, it's at WDW. The castle at DL is Sleeping Beauty's, bot Cindy's. There is no restaurant at the one in DL, at WDW Magic Kingdom it is Cinderella's Royal Table.

No problem! I wish there was one at DL, my girls would love it! Hope you have a great time, that first one with kids is so exciting!!!

There are two super tiny stores inside of the castle but not a restaurant. I am 120% sure of it.

That would be SWEET if there were a place to eat, up in Sleeping Beauty's Castle. That would be really expensive too I bet.

OK, I'm ready to be blasted :worried: .... I've been to the one in WDW for Cinderella's lunch and I don't see what the fuss is about. The restaurant is on the second floor, and although there are a few tudor-style windows, you do not get a view of the park from where you are seated. It's really rather dark... supposed to be medieval. You certainly don't "feel" like you're inside the castle.

The prices are similar to Ariel's grotto, although booking a spot is nearly impossible. I happened to book when they had just opened the character lunch, and no one had advertised the fact yet except here on the boards! The only benefit of the meal was that at WDW, it's nearly impossible to come across the princesses in the park for photos and autographs. From what I've heard, it's a lot easier at DLR.

The suite for "Year of a Million Dreams" is higher up in the castle. Not that would be magical! :tink:

princess: I am not a big fan of the food in Cinderella's castle in the Magic Kingdom, but it has always been a thrill to actually eat inside of it! Of course my trips there are years apart, so it isn't something we get to do often.
Now I really do wish there was SOMETHING back in Sleeping Beauty's castle. A restaurant would be great, but I would settle for them re-opening the walk through there. I REALLY miss that!

You won't get blasted. Most people feel the same way once they have experienced it! I think a view of Fantasyland would be awesome! Then you'd feel like you were in the castle. It's a nice thing to do once or twice, but not the "be all" that some people make it out to be.

I think the humidity and really hot temperatures in Florida throughout so much of the year cut down on many of the character sightings. I definitely saw so many more princesses/characters in California compared to WDW.
