Hey Good Lookin', Whatcha' got cookin'?

We are re-heating leftover lasanga and baking some garlic breadsticks.

The crock pot did the cooking today. BBQ ribs with my moms special sauce, and a tub of those new (?) Country Crock Garlic Mashed potatoes. (Surprisingly good!) Just sent DH to the store for ice cream and Oreo's!

La Jolla Chicken..Which is chicken breasts cooked with spinach, sun dried tomatoes wine and garlic

Lasanga & garlic bread.

It's still in the oven. Dinner is at 6.

Homemade tacos & chili & cornbread
DS is 17 today! :bday: :cake: & our family tradition is it is the birthday--ee's choice for meals --
:offtopic: Actually, DH is taking him for a surprise weekend trip for EE opening--you should see him, his chin is up but it's been tests (homeschooled :teacher: ) & snow shoveling :p today!

Jean

I made a small whole chicken, mashed potatoes, broccoli and home made gravy.

French Dip sandwiches (put a roast in the crockpot) and French fries. They are both called French, but neither seem very French! :lmao:

DD and I ate at my Moms and we had Beef Stew with Biscuits. :cool1: It was a perfect day for it. It is rainy and raw here today. :wave2:

Chinese, fried rice, chow main, and orange chicken and some egg rolls! :stir:

How do you make this? It sounds good

Margarita-Marinated Chicken

2 large limes

2 cups liquid margarita mix

1 cup vegetable oil

1 cup chopped fresh cilantro

2 t. salt

Sprinkle of pepper

3 T. tequila

3-4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1. Cut limes in half. Squeeze juice into a shallow dish or large Ziploc bag; add squeezed lime halves to juice. Add margarita mix, next 4 ingredients and tequila. Wisk (or seal bag and shake) to blend. Add chicken; cover or seal; chill at least 2 hours or up to 6 hours. Remove chicken from marinade, discarding marinade afterward.

[font=&quot]2. Coat grill with cooking spray. Place on grill over medium heat (300-350). Place chicken on grate. Cook 6 minutes on each side or until done.

I actually baked mine for 35 minutes on 350. It was awesome!
