Hey everyone! I've been lurking on here for sometime now...I EVEN had another screen name at one time(But computer crash...lost password...)

I had like 2 WHOLE posts on my other name! But I don't even remember the name! Yikes! I've become accustomed to auto-save.(use the brain Cass...use the BRAIN!!!)

So anyways....I have two year old boy/girl twins who are TOTAL Disney addicts. Every morning is Playhouse Disney and "TiggyPooh" may be the most loved person in our house!

My husband recently enlisted in the active duty Army and we will be moving to our first duty station(Ft. Hood, TX) at te end of the month and looking at a deployment at the end of the year.

Disney has always held a special place in my heart. I've lived near Tampa my ENTIRE life, so I've been MANY times. I LOVE IT!!! Since I found out I was pregnant I have been SUPER excited to see MY kids at The World! My husband has never been either. Now that they are 2 my excitement is REALLY getting to me! I WANT TO GO NOW!!! But, as we all know, it is up to the Army as to when they would like to give my hubby time off...So what do you think guys?

Should we try to go THIS year, hoping he gets time off before a deployment?

Or is WAITNG a while...like until they might ACTUALLY remember it a better idea?

You've definitally found the right place to quench your Disney thirst... I discovered the Dis in November and have checked the boards multiple times per day since then...

A big thank you to your husband is due for serving our country. Military life is not an easy one for the enlisted or their loved ones. My husband served for 3 years in the late 90's..there were parts of the lifestyle that we absolutely loved, and other parts that were unbearable. All in all it was definitally a positive experience and he has even considered reenlisting.. I wish you good luck in your upcoming military adventure as an Army wife..

Now, to go to the World or not... Only you can answer this... They have excellent discounts for Military, and my belief is that your hubby would most likely get time off before a major deployment... If you truly cannot bear to stay away much longer, I'd say, go for it!!

On the other hand...2 year olds are an handful in everyday life... and Disney World can be a very tiresome place if you're attacking the World all day... They are likely to not remember the trip, although you will definitally remember their little faces...and pictures are forever... Again, it really depends on you...
