Hey everybody! Beanie asked me to post for her.....

She wants to apologize to everyone for not being on the boards lately! Beanie asked me to tell you that she has not abondoned her WISH family, but that she has been busy with a very sick little girl all summer and just hasn't had time to get on the internet let alone post anything. Beanies little 4 year old Savannah, has severe asthma and has been struggling with it all summer long. Poor little thing! Anyway- all mom's attention has been focused where it should be and unfortunately her friends here have not heard from her in a while. She sends her love and hopes to get back onto the boards soon!

Beanie- I hope Savannah is feeling better soon. I'm sure it's very difficult for her and you. I will be thinking of you and keeping you both in my prayers. Take care my friend!

Here's a {{{{{BIG GIANT HUG}}}}} Beanie for you and Savannah. We know you still love us and will get back to the Boards when you can. Right now, taking care of Savannah is the important thing! And with a great Mom like you, I know she will be feeling better in no time. I'm sure that summer is a terrible time for people with asthma--all the pollen floating around and the hot humid weather!

My niece is named Savannah, too and she is also 4 year old! I love that name, it's so pretty!

Beanie- I'll be praying for your dear daughter! My son has severe asthma- and once he got a bad attack it just got worse because his lungs never had a chance to repair themselves. But there is hope- we have gone from 15 attacks a year (and when I mean attacks they don't start gradually - he'll be breathing in the green zone on his peak flow meter at bedtime and wake up with less than 50- almost unable to get it up that high!) to only 3 this year!! And he's had 2 colds that did not lead into asthma- usually any cold or allergy would drop him into the red zone- so we're thrilled- he's now 8 and his worse times were between ages 1 & 6. So I hope she feels better soon and gets her strength up!!!!
