Hey Disney, Get some good musical acts

Have you tried the new caramel Bugles?! OMG! Sooooooooooooo good!
They also have chocolate peanut butter ones, but I haven't tried those yet.

Get out of town!!!! Oh my goodness! I have to find some of those. Both sound wonderful!

As far as entertainment for F&W, I wonder if Joey Fatone would be available? Does he sing or was he just one of the dancers?

Um, wow. That's all I can say.

And, oh, EW to caramel and chocolate covered Bugles. Those are supposed to be salty, not sweet. :P

I dunno. I've heard about chocolate covered bacon and it seems just so wrong. Chocolate covered Bugles is on the same level.

Yes, but...

Nikki....I'm telling you, Caramel Bugles are awesome! I'm really not a big sweet eater, but I love these things! They rank right up there with Chocolate covered potato chips!

So we're agreed, have Disney sell chocolate covered Bugles during a tuba show. Much better than the Katrina and the Waves reunion tour.

Also, as you seem to not like the acts booked, who would you book to play at an 800 seat amphitheater in the middle of a theme park, where you show (actually, all of your shows) are included in the cost of admission?

In the past, we've seen some good and some not so good shows.

We had a chance to see Little Richard. While he wasnt the Little Richard of the late 50's, I still felt like it was an honor getting a chance to see him perform live.

We also saw Petula Clark. She sounded a bit rough.

This isnt supposed to be snarky in any way....but who should Disney book?

I was at Epcot just for the evening on Easter Sunday 2008 (March 23), and I really wanted to see Petula Clark. Her songs were the same, even if her voice wasn't, but I still enjoyed her show.

I think Boyz II Men is about as recent as the groups get, but they don't do anything for me.

I love his music too, but I hate the tours by musical acts that rely solely on "I remember when" to sell tickets. If you haven't had a hit since the 80s, you kind of look pathetic touring.

You sound like my 13 year old who thinks that any song that is over 6 months old is...... well old.

To me if I liked the music back in the day then I'll probably still like it today. I don't have a problem with musicians aging, what can they do about that?

I just saw Billy Idol last weekend and I was rocking out dude. Slamming tequila with a rebel yell, how can you not enjoy that no matter how old you are.

I don't think the lineup is that bad. The 80's were my highschool years and I like alot of those groups.

oh...and on the salty sweet topic.....pretzed dipped in vanilla ice cream...yummm

By the way, the pretzel M&Ms are awesome... :)

Thanks, Nikki, for mentioning the bacon. I managed to get that desire to make some out of my head finally, and now I might have to try and make some this weekend...when I first saw Michael Symon make it when he took over Dinner Impossible, I said, "WHAT? No way...", but the more I thought about it, the more I had to try it.

It is now "gourmet" to top chocolate with coarse salt.
