I know there are many DISers that also travel to Southwest FL, and I just received an email from SWA Rapid Rewards, that they are adding Ft Myers as a destination. (Makes sense since they are already kind of there, with their ATA codeshare flights).
The email said dates, schedules, and departure cities would be announced next month.
This makes me VERY happy since we are flying to Orlando in February, spending 5 days at WDW, then driving south to spend a week with my parents in Bonita Springs. With SWA adding Ft Myers, that brings our potential airlines to find a flight home (non stop hopefully) up to 3 (Song, JetBlue, and SWA)
Hope this is good news for some others as well.
