Payless Shoe Source has mostly kid's sizes in ballet slippers and tap shoes.

I usually go to a local store called Competitor's Closet, which has dance, gymnastics, and figure skating things.

Try a local store, maybe?

we have a ton of dance stores but I dont want to pay $40 for a pair of shoes that she will wear for 3 weeks because I know they wont fit her next year...

If she's not dancing over the summer, and you just need a few weeks out of the shoes - are they leather? Can you get them stretched?

I've stretched my own daughter's shoes. I put on a damp sock, squashed my foot in her shoe, and walked around in them for a half hour. They stretched enough for her to wear them for recital, then we got new shoes in the fall.

A good shoe cobbler could do it for you, or try a skate shop that specializes in figure skates.

If I don't have time to order online I sometimes buy shoes for DD's at GAFS in Quincy. Have you tried there for your DD's shoes? I didn't find their prices to be super high
