Hey Boston folks, post your thoughts about Sir Gerald here!

Shyla, sorry you weren't with us the entire time. It is tough with the little ones.

Cindy, I didn't think you were shy at all. And your girls were just adorable. I'll have to send you a copy of my picture of Haileigh with the bag of chips. That just cracked me up.

Diane, my arm is doing quite well now. Next time I'm going to bring a spotlight or something so I don't have to hold my hand up.

Ed, tell your son that I wasn't leading sled dogs. I never said mush. Geesh. He must have been walking by when I was jokingly trying to get people to go faster by shouting, "Go, go, go." I felt like I was cheering people on at the Boston Marathon or something :)

I dropped my pictures off a little while ago and will be picking them up shortly! I'll be sure to scan and post some of them :)

Hey Karen. Great job yesterday and great fun for all. I just wanted to point out the wierd looks we received form several venders as we left Lobster Mickey and headed over to the Aquarium. I think they thought we were a little nuts.

I say if this is nuts I don't want to be sane.

My grandson loved seeing all the fish at the aquarium after we left you guys. Everything went well until he tried to eat a starfish. He calmed down again as soon as his Mom took him into the gift shop. Within 2 minutes he had over $200.00 worth of toys and stuffed animals in his grip. We managed to get him to settle for 1 stuffed penguin.

P.S. So sorry we missed the capering. Oh well maybe next time.

Sounds like everyone had a great time!! :hyper: I don't think I have ever seen a meet quite that big!!:earseek: Great job organizing.....wonder if any future meets will be given a name!!??!!

I think that every meet should have a name! I was joking that I'm going to start an alphabetical list like the national weather service does for hurricanes.

philaround, good to know I wasn't the only one who's child felt that the aquarium was a bigger draw than the Mickey's were. My son had a total meltdown when we tried to move on so we stayed to watch the free show of the seals. I had no idea that seals had toe nails!

Hey no one promised to take me back to the Aquarium. Do I have to start crying and screaming now?

Errr AHEM... Karen, I, too, saw that dive in front of Lobsta Mickey! Someone actually said "OUCH!" No further denying it!!!

I guess many of us have a lot in common beside WDW... I, too, am shy and thank the many of you who reached out to a DISer on her own...ME...particularly my S/D sorority sisters - Gail and Joanne.

I thought all of your children did very well being herded around by a bunch of  DISers!

I would have loved to have seen the Common extraordinary sights but I needed to go to a graduation party, do my grocery shopping and then I had some beyond-the-deadline paperwork to get done by Monday morning.

Many, many thanks again to Karen for organizing a wonderful :goodvibes .

uh oh, I feel another, um, kristophe (the next letter of the alphabet) in the making. I say an aquarium visit is a down right good DIS Meet idea.

Looks like you all had fun. Well, hopefully I can caper @ the next Jerry!

I'm really shy also!!! Could you tell?;) ROTFLMAO!!! Shyla is too!!-NOT!!!! We had a ball and I had a dream we had another one today!!

Ed, when did CamColt say she would take me to the Aquarium? I must have missed that one! I wanna go. I wanna go. I wanna go. (stomping my feet).

And I want lots of souveniers, too. I want that and that and that and that and that.

Hey other Karen (aka Mouseteacher) I still don't know what anyone is talking about. A dive? I haven't seen a person take a dive to the ground since the hockey season ended. And who said "Ouch." Did someone get hurt during the meet? I would hate to think that someone actually got hurt during the meet.

I got my pictures back today. They came out great--especially the family pictures I took at the Swan Boats. I'll have to get to work on scanning them and sending PMing them to everyone. I actually got double prints, and I'd be happy to mail them to you, too.

Karen

Sorry Karen but I'm another person that can confirm that you dived down onto the ground for a picture. Anyone one has pictures? Unfortunately my hands were full, couldn't take the picture.

I look forward to seeing the pictures.

Okay, maybe 'dive' is the wrong word here, but Karen you sure did 'quickly sit' (how's that?) before the Lobsta!!! Yep, you did.

Looks like you guys had a wonderful time! I wish I had been more "active" on the CB, and less busy at work so that'd be possible... so I would have known about it!! My work location BLOCKS the Disboards...can you BELIEVE IT??

My question - how long are the 75 Years of Mickey's at Fanieul Hall? I work in the Back Bay (right next to Hancock tower!) and I want to head there on my lunch if I can see them!!

LOVED the pics on the swan boats!

Ill take you to the Aquarium, Karen....but if you dont stop that tantrum, youre not getting an icecream! And ummm, I sort of remember something about a dive too...and it wasnt the Canadiens. ;)

Speaking of which, the picture I have of us female hockey fans came out really good. Karen and Ann, I can email it to you guys if you want. Or anyone else if youre intersted. :D

It sounds like all you guys had a blast at the meet. I'm totally bummed that I couldn't go...and the friend I was supposed to get together with never even called me back and we didn't end up hanging out so I could have gone! Some friend! So after I finished ranting and raving to my roommate we went canoeing at Hopkinton State Park..fun but not as cool as frolicing with DISer's would be.

So when's the next meet.:D

Quickly sit? I don't think I sat down all weekend. My feet still ache from all the walking I did between Friday and Sunday. I still don't know what you are talking about, and since none of you seem to have photographic evidence of the said dive, it must not have happened.

You sure did miss a fun time.

There are 15 statues at Fanueil Hall and the Aquarium (although some have been out to repair, so there were only seven of them there yesterday, and one had caution tape around it). They will be there until mid-July.
