Hey Boston Fans...

We saw Manny Ramirez twice while we were at Disney last week. Once we saw him walking around Epcot near Mexico, and then we had to wait while he rode Rockin' Roller Coaster twice, him and his whole family. Must be nice to just walk up to a ride, get on, and ride it as many times as you want.

I would wait all day while Manny rode the Rock-n-Roll Rollercoaster ... if he gave me an autograph. LOL!!

What day was he at RnR?? Was that maybe one of the times we went and it had "technical difficulties"???

It was Saturday morning, and all the other coasters were still running. They just announced that "the next train will be unavailable" as Manny's came rolling through the waiting area twice while we were in there. No telling how many times he rode it before we made it in there. We hustled out afterward, and asked two "gentlemen" standing at the exit if they saw him leave. One of them said "yeah, whoever he was, he just left." We said, "That was Manny Ramirez of The World Series Champion Boston Red Sox."
And that "guy" actually said "whatever" like a pre-teen girl.

It's amazing who you see at WDW. We saw NBA great Rick Barry while waiting in line for Test Track once (but he was waiting in line like the rest of us underlings) and we saw Tennis star Chris Everet in the wave bobing pool at Blizzard Beach (my wife still doesn't believe me on this one, of course she didn't believe me about Rick Barry either until I showed her his NBA Legends T-shirt and we saw the next day he was appearing at the ESPN club).

Guess it was true when after the World Series the Sox said "we're going to Disney World!!!!!"

We saw him at Chef Mickey's Saturday night, 1/22. He was having dinner with his family. He had a nice window table in the corner facing MK. Although I filmed him (so my friends would believe me). I thought it would be bad form to interrupt his dinner.

In a related story, I saw Scottie Pippen in Mickey's Toontown Fair a few days later. He walked passed while pushing a stroller. Told him he was the man. He thanked me and went about his business. Cool moment.
