Hey BLT Vets! Can you walk me through this......

Hi everyone.

We are taking our first trip home to BLT. Can someone walk me through the checkin process please?

We are using ME so are we dropped off @ CR or BLT? Which checkin counter do we use? If we check in @ CR are their luggage carts to bring our luggage over to BLT? ( we are international guest and ME no longer sends out the Luggage tags - so we pick up our own and bring on board ME with us). How long is the walk from CR to BLT?

I am a little Type A just like to know what I can expect. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide in clearing this up.

You check in at the main CR desk. IF you do online check in, there is a spot for that. If not, then you just get in the same line as everyone else checking in to the CR.

Bell services will bring your luggage over to BLT for you. You are not allowed to use the carts yourself. The walk is about 5 minutes from the lobby of CR to the lobby of BLT, very easy. You can also head up to the 4th floor of the CR and crossover to BLT using the skybridge.

ME drops off by the entrance to the CR lobby and bell services are there too.

You check in at the CR then I would head up to the 4th floor and head to the skybridge to get into BLT. Remember you will need your KTTW to access BLT.

Thanks for answering that question! I was wondering the same thing. It will be good to tell my family where they are going too as we will all be arriving seperately. Tee hee

We took our own luggage from check in to BLT. It is just a very short walk. Now all our luggage has wheels so it was easy with 4 of us.
