I usually stay at the Ramada on Essington ave. the night before an early flight and park my car in the Park and Jet lot adjacent to it. I seem to remember reading on here somewhere, that a hotel (The Marriott ?) has free parking for the length of your trip...anybody know what I am talking about? Even if it costs a little more per night, I would save the $7 per day parking fee. Can anyone advise???

The Marriott at the airport does not offer free parking. Obviously, you could walk, but they do charge for parking. Since we live 15 minutes from the airport - and I work about 2 miles from it - I'm familiar with most of the properties because we use them for meetings and out of town visitors. Here are a few that did offer free parking when I last checked:

Renaissance - 610-521-5900 (formerly a Radisson)

Comfort Inn - 610-521-9800

Courtyard Marriott - 215-365-2200

Embassy Suites - 215-365-4500

Holiday Inn - don't have a # for that, but it's located on 291 (Governor Printz Blvd.)

I have seen shuttles from the Renaissance, Holiday Inn and and Embassy Suites. I assume that they all offer shuttles, but I would check to make sure. Good luck!

Sorry, can't help you. We park off-site at Ampco, they are wonderful. About 5-6 dollars a day with frequent shuttle service. Last time the shuttle driver even helped us shovel out our car and waited to make sure we could get out of the spot.

Lat year, I had an early flight out to Vegas, and stayed at the Fairfield Inn (sorry, I forget the name of the street it's on). It was around $60 - 70 for the night, and I was able to leave my car there for teh week I was in Vegas. Last fall when I went to WDW, I parked my car at Priority Parking, which is on Rt 291. I have AAA and they give a discount. The latest AAA World magazine had an ad for $42 per week special. They picked me up FAST once I had my bagage. I will use them again if I can't get a ride when I go next month.

Check out the airport's web site, I think they have links to hotels in the area. I liked the Fairfield, but if I stayed tehre again, I would ask for a room on the back side of the hotle - anything away from the lobby. I was 2 stories above it, but could hear people outside talking while waiting to be shuttled to the airport. I did not get a good night sleep (was up by 4am, to leave at like 5:30) on top of heading west, going to a show that evening, made for a VERY long day! Good luck in what ever you do!

We live just outside of Philly. We travel frequently on buisness and pleasure. If we don't have someone we know drop off and pick up, we use a taxi. It cost us about $20 one way. We find it much more convienient and cheaper.

We recently stayed at the Embassy suites before flying out of Phila. airport. It is a gorgeous hotel !!!
They do not have a secure parking lot but we were able to leave our car at the hotel parking lot for the length of our vacation.
We booked off priceline and paid about $60 a night.

The Hilton has free length of trip parking. We parked there last year when we were on our two week DCL/WDW trip.
