Hess stations, a bit of good news

Just back from the weekend at BCV, and the good news is that the new Hess stations on property are charging $!.72 for regular gas. If the Exxon stations were still there, it would be around $1.90. The bad news is that you cannot get pepsi in their convenience stores at the fountains, only coke products. Sheesh, you would think they would try and sneak one pepsi spout in there. I also emailed Amerada Hess asking them if they intend to hold the price of gas to a reasonable level, unlike Exxon who charged about 15 cents above the going local prices. In a case like that , I would fill up before leaving the property to go home or to another area of Orlando.

Exxon was always higher because they watered their gas down with Dasani. Hess just pumps it out of Bay Lake.

I thought Exxon watered theirs down with Nescafe coffee concentrate.

When I lived in the area I found the on property stations slightly cheaper than those in the nearby off property areas.
