I completely forgot to order water for our trip...we arrive Wednesday. I was debating just walking to the Hess station across the street from BWI but can't recall how far it is.
Anyone know if its walkable, carrying heavy things? I could potentially take the stroller and put items in it and push it back! Lol

Its easily walkable. Its probably 1/4 mile in total? I'm sure your arms would get tired carrying water (its heavy) and a lot of other stuff but it can be done.

take the stroller - it is not far - if you go out the main exit - turn to the left and walk down to the conference area - and kept going left - across the street - wait for the walk signal (you have to hit is) - you can definitely see the traffic from the street (right side) - but sometimes the other side the traffic is going fast - the speed limit is 25 on this road - but some go 50mph - much to fast for this road. so be carefully if you walk against this light.

then just turn right and the next turn off will be hess. also be carefully here - the traffic is coming out of the gasoline or getting their car wash and they do not always watch as carefully as they should.

it is less than a quarter of a mile. now if you go thru the convention center and not walk around it - then you don't need a stroller.

I would say it's walkable (not necessarily a fun walk), but I'm not sure there is a sidewalk to get there from the BW. You can walk from the BW to the lot behind the Hess Station, but there appears to be a hedge/grass between that and the back entrance to the Hess Station.

Given that, it appears to be about 0.3 miles (500 yards) from the BW bus stop to the Hess Station.

The hedge does not block access.

You take suitcases there and back? Is that what you mean?

Yes with wheels of course, as you can see by the contents we are way past the stroller stage. :drinking1

A rolling carryon bag works really nicely!!! And so much easier if you have heavy stuff!!!!
The walk is easy...just walk out of BW, past the bus stop, past the security bldg, cross the street and walk right to the back driveway of the Hess station. Just watch for cars in this driveway....drivers aren't really watching for pedestrians there!!!

Great, I think we will do this too. I was just coming on to dis boards to ask this question, did a quick search and tada I found the answer I was looking for! :cool1:
