Hess station at DTD ?

Why wouldn't you be able to bring a carry-on bag on the bus? When we had small children we used our carry on bag to double as a diaper/day bag at the parks.

Boarded the buses with it many, many times.

I was assuming that they were talking about a rolling carry on, since they're talking about carrying water. bus drivers are not supposed to allow those. A tote bag is fine on the bus, but I would not recommend trying to carry a case of water in one.

I'd be surprised if this were true of even a rolling bag since you can buy them at DTD and even in the parks (rolling bags).

Is it documented somewhere?

We have even moved from one resort to another and brought our suitcases (of course that was in 1998.

Then again I've seen lots of "prohibited" items in the park too.

There is also a Hess Express about .25 mi from the front of the boardwalk resort.

The yellow circle is the Boardwalk bus stop and the red circle is the Hess Express.

Are you sure this Hess station is still open (corner of Buena Vista Dr & Epcot Resorts Blvd)? When I search it on Google Maps it comes up as "permanently closed".

DTD & the Hess Station is our first stop after we arrive. We always take a rolling carry on suitcase on the bus and have not had an issue. We have also taken the boat from POR w/ them.

Milk, OJ, a case of water, powerade, Mr Pibbs, & a six pack of Corona are essentials when we visit!

I've seen people drinking beer on the bus from resort to park, I think that would be a bigger no no then bringing a rolling bag on the bus!

We've done this more than once, and no one said a word to us about it not being allowed. I know we did it at least twice, which would have been 4 different bus drivers, no problem. :)

There are 3 Hess stations on property and they are all open The 2 mentioned and the one at the MK Car Care Center Have no idea why google is telling you that :confused3

I suggest not getting bottles of water (unless you are using them for baby formula). We've never had a problem with the water at WDW and just ask for ice water whenever we need something to drink. It's free from all CS restaurants and kiosks (that have water available). Another upside to this is that we're not lugging water bottles through the park and they aren't getting hot. We only have a drink when we need one and then toss the cup.
