He's here.

I can't see the pics either:confused3 but what a wopper! Fantastic news and well done :thumbsup2 Shows I need to look at these threads once in a while!:lmao:

I noticed that your DS weighed about the same as my DD, she was 10 Lb 6 oz...just some advice(not that you asked for any ;) ) you will constantly hear big remarks and people will always assume he is older then he is right from the get go!!! The first time my DH and I took her out in public everyone thought she was 3 months old and she was two weeks old. It gets old after a while but I guess it's just human nature!!! Best wishes to you and your beautiful baby boy!!!

DH posted the pics so I'll see what I can do about getting them back up later. He wasn't exactly sure what he was doing so they may just not be set up right. LOL

We came home yesterday and so far so good. DH and my mom are doing alot of work so thats really helpful. He's still having issues with the breast feeding but we're working on it. He just doesn't get the latching very well so its a struggle but once he gets it he gets going so the lactation consultant gave us some tricks to try but in the mean time I've been pumping and he gets that in a bottle when he gets to frustrated to keep trying or when he's done with me but still needs a little more.

Right now we are dealing with jaundice. He was doing ok with the billyblanket in the hospital but the one they sent home he absolutly hates and screams whenever we turn it on. His levels were on the way down before we left so hopefully after todays doctors appointment they'll say we don't even have to use it at all.

I'll check the pics when I get home and see about posting some more.

well i bet you are glad to be home!
just thought i'd throw something out there at you. i did NOT breastfeed but my niece is currently and she had the same problems that you are having and they told her to go to Babies R Us (i think) and get a shield to put on her breast and he took to that so much better. i don't know if that helps but i thought i'd let you know. she said it made a world of difference. it was night and day. (her words) if you want to know more i would be happy to call her.

enjoy that baby. such a blessing.

The baby is so cute and adorable!!! and a rather huge baby....

Congratulations to mom and dad!
