Yay!! SO happy for you guys. What I did to pass the time was I kept cleaning the house, polished my toenails and fingernails, baked cookies, and PACED. The kids and I jumped up and down a bit too. Was very hard to wait, but a very happy feeling too!

Well everyone, I just wanted to thank you for all the well wishes. My soldier arrived safely home on Saturday. It was the most incredible feeling seeing that airplane land and knowing I was only a few moments away from seeing him again. The guys were supposed to have a little welcome home ceremony, with a few speeches given by the governor, etc. but as soon as they were released from formation the families all swarmed and there was no stopping us! So much for the speeches...

We had a wonderful reunion and it's such an incredible feeling knowing he's safe and sound and back in my arms. I had a difficult time this morning. He had to go back to the base for more outprocessing, and seeing him put on that uniform and walk out the door again brought back some memories of the last time he left when I wasn't sure when I would see him again. Only this time I know he'll be home in time for dinner!

Thanks again everyone for your kindness and concern, and please continue to keep our troops who are still fighting in your thoughts and prayers.
