Hertz Upgrades

We had a terrible time finding a reasonably priced rental this year; we tried EVERYTHING. We booked a package flight/car deal through Oribitz which saved us $200-$300. We booked the economy car because I was sure that we could find free upgrade coupons/cards as we have in the past.

Does anyone know of any coupons for free upgrades with Hertz? I had a card for free upgrades with Capitol One in the past and AAA used to have coupons all the time. We looked through our AAA Michigan magazines and websites and asked at the office and found nothing. I can't seem to find my Capitol one discount card either.

Thanks for any suggestions. We will just deal with an economy if that's what it comes to, but I don't think my boyfriend is going to like it too much at 6'3".

If you are #1 club Gold then you may be upgraded anyway. I had an economy booked gold service a couple weekends ago (not at MCO though) and was upgraded to green collection (Prius...maybe no one wants to rent those right now. The accelerator didn't stick though!).
