Hertz Rental @ SOG?

I'm sorry if this has been asked a million times, but I couldn't find a thread with the info.

Can you rent a car at the Hertz locations at SOG, and not stay there? We are staying at the POP, and want to rent a car for a few days. Hertz is a lot cheaper than any of the other rental companies, taking in to account our AAA discount and the free car seat.

If you can rent there, how do you get there? Just jump a SOG bus from one of the parks? Or, will they pick me up at POP? I've never rented a car in Disney before. Since we're staying 10 days this year, we wanted to go off property for a few days to see Cape Canaveral, Daytona Speedway, etc.

Yes, you can rent at SOG. Hertz will pick you up from a location of your choice, just call to setup a time/date to pick up your vehicle.

We have rented from there three times and they are not fast and usually only have one employee onsight so you need to have patience with them but they will pick you up and drop you off and they are very polite.... Patience is just a necesity with this location...
