Hello everyone, I just returned from a 3 day visit to Universal Studios. My family and I were staying at PBH. I made a reservation for a rental car to be picked up at 6pm on Saturday. Online the reservation information said the office would close at 6pm, so I made it a point to arrive early at 5:15pm. When I got to the desk. There was a sign that read the the hours of operation were until 5pm. I then telephoned Hertz, customer service for Hertz on the phone said that all the office should be open until 6pm. This began 5 hours me trying to figure out a way to get a car that I needed that night to attend the Hoop Dee Doo musical review at WDW, and to drop off some of my family at the airport at 4am in the morning. To make a long story short after speaking with 5 agents,and several supervisors. They could do nothing for me until the office opened at 8am the next morning. Luckily Disney was able to help me by switching me tickets to the next night. Unfortunately half of my family was to miss that performance because they were leaving. I was just completely amazed at the inept attitude of the Hertz employees. How come no one called me to say, "you have a 6pm reservation,but our office closes at 5pm". There were many other problems, but about the level of customer service by Hertz was appalling.
