I went through Hotwire to make our car rental reservation. We have Hertz and I was wondering if I can still do the early on-line check in on Hertz's website even though I reserved through Hotwire. Thanks.

I'm not sure about early check in but take a look at my thread "Hotwire Car Rental - Never Again!" Be aware of your rental times.

Thanks for the heads up. I read your thread and I'm going to double check our confirmations to see what they say.
One more question - Our insurance covers car rental --did you have to show proof of that to Hertz? I read another post where someone said Hertz made them get insurance. Did you run into anything with that?

No, we have State Farm and just told them we were covered under our own. No hard sell at all. FYI - Our confirmation was correct stating 8 days, it's just not what was in the system qata Hertz. I would call hertz to confirm what is actually in their system.
