I've just reserved a car to get me back to Orlando (one way rental). While I was making the reservation, I noticed "rates may change". Has anyone had this happen to them?? Also - do I need to contact the Hertz office and tell them to send a shuttle to pick my family up at the port at a certain time??

I wouldn't worry too much about rates changing. The lawyers probably made them put in that small print to cover themselves, but generally they will always honor the rate they committed to when you made the reservation.

No, you don't need to call them. They'll be running their shuttle when the ships disembark.
 
The shuttle has always been waiting for me when i got off the ship but if you are concerned call before you leave on the cruise and remind htem that you are coming off a Disney ship and someone will be there to meet you.

How 'bout when you are leaving? How are the shuttle running to the port? When do they start bringing people over?

we use hertz every year, we usually show up at the office around 9 or 9:30 and we get the same speech each year that its too early to be taken over and after all is said and done they pile us into the van and take us over. last year we were dropped off in an outter parking lot, must have been around 10 or so, a person handling the luggage said they would gladly take our bags and when the all clear was given we could procede over to security and go into the terminal. nerver had any problems being picked up either.
