Anyone been to Halloween at Hershey...is it mobbed? I'd hate to go and have to wait 1/2 hour to go on rides!

Thanks for the info!!!!!! Looks great! Where would you stay in the area? I see Hershey Lodge and Hotel Hershey are the on site places, but would other places be more budget friendly (yet still nice)? Any suggestions?

I see the packages listed for the Lodge and Hotel Hershey and I think some of them only give you 1 day of tickets, so I guess we could use the free tickets if we added a second night? Looks like additional nights are room only on the packages. Or is it better to just buy things separately?

I haven't been the Hershey as an adult, so any tips are appreciated. We are 2 1/2 hours away and have 2 little ones, so I would like to stay overnight (probably 2 nights). Thanks!

We went for Halloween at Hershey three years ago. The waits for rides were long, but it was ok because of the trick or treating and other activities going on inbetween the rides. It was one of our favorite long weekend getaways. We talk about going back every year.

We also got a really great rate at a Holiday Inn that had an indoor pool and breakfast included. It was a quick drive.
