Hershey Park News

I know, I know this is the Dis boards, but for those of you who go to Hershey Park on your off years - they just announced really big news for 2007. They are opening one of the largest water parks in the world. It will be an east coast boarwalk theme. I have to say, Hershey is no Disney, but the water park does look very impressive.

The opening will coincide with their 100 year anniversary.

I got the email from Hersheypark yesterday with the announcement. It looks like it will be a fabulous water park.

Thanks, will go look now. My dd has cheerleading competition at their arena every year. My bil lives in Lancaster and we usually go for a quick 2 night getaway. Will have to check it out once it opens.

I saw it last night and I CAN'T wait. We usually have passes every year but didn't get this year since since we went to Disney.

I miss going to HP every week or more this summer. The girls do to. I just wish they would add the Hershey Gardens back on the to HP passes. We love the butterfly house in the kids section. I have to look into getting those too for next year.

I have been waiting for HP to so more water stuff especially afte they bought Dutch Wonderland a few years ago.

I've been to HP once when I was in high school with my best friend's family. DH and I were talking about stopping there next time on the way "home" to visit Buffalo - this just sweetens the deal
