Hershey Park's website for Christmas CandyLane does not identify any "coupon partners" yet. Does anybody know where the coupons have been available historically? I live about 1 hour from Hershey so I may need to get coupons when we arrive on Dec. 1st. Do they have the Family 4 pack for this event? Any details on the discounts? This is pretty low cost to start with but just trying to save a few additional dollars.

We were thinking of going this year. Is it nice? Worth going in the winter? My son is 5 1/2 and I think he would enjoy it. Does it get very crowded? One more question, is the $9.95 fee all you pay to get in, see the decorations and ride the 30 rides that are open?

It is absolutely wonderful. You son and you will enjoy it.

There is no cost to enter. You pay to ride the rides. They also sell armbands that allow unlimited rides for the day of purchase. This is usually the best way to go with a child.

Santa is there and so are all 9 of his reindeer.

They charge for parking. It is in the $9 range. Sorry I can't remember the exact amount.

We go every year. They also have the drive through light display. That is $20/vehicle.

Historically Giant Food stores has a discount. There is one very near Hersheypark. They sell you the tickets at the customer service desk.

We are planning on going again this year.

What does the $9.95 fee cover..the rides?

Hey it looks like they changed the admission? I see the $9.95 too so maybe they are just charging one price to get in and ride instead of those darn tickets!(works for me!) We have gone in the past and LOVED it- the light display was really cute and we would do that again too! Even my older kids enjoyed it - not much open for them but they just liked being there too and we stayed at a hotel with an indoor pool.

We went last year and it was 9.95 per person, which covered admission, rides and a hot chocolate:) When we went it was great until around 3-4 it got FREEZING, I would recommend doing the rides fro a while then go do teh chocolate tour then back to the park for more rides

Have fun

That's really good that it included all this. A few years ago when we went, they nickel and dimed you for EVERYTHING. We paid for admission, parking, rides, hot choc., food, photos, everything all separate. It added up to be a really expensive night. It was great, but we didn't expect it to be that much cost wise. I hope they changed it due to some possible feedback at how it was structured. A great experience for the family though! :santa:

It sounds really nice. I think I may plan on going right after Thanksgiving when it could still be mild out.

It looks like they are now charging a flat rate for all to enter. $9.95 is less than DH and I would pay when we bought the individual tickets.

We have been going for the past 5 years. Last year they changed to an admission price per person. We thought it was great because it was less than $10 and so much easier than the tickets. They had a 4 pack deal that was very good, thinking it was around $35 for 4 tickets and 4 hot chocolate coupons. Just wondering if anybody has any info about this year? Again, if you purchase full price admission you can enter park for 2 hours before closing the night before. It is a great time and my son believes that the real Santa only goes to Hershey -thus the annual trip.

I cannot recall any discounts with Candylane... BUT if anyone would have them I'd look to a Giant Supermarket.. They usually have discounts to Hershey in the summer. And as far as enjoyment... my daughter has gone every year since she was born... We just feel like its a great trip during the holiday season.

First, discount coupons will be available for Hersheypark Christmas Candylane. You will be able to get your coupon at Central PA Burger King restaurants and CVS pharmacies. The cost without the discount is $9.95 per person age 3 and over.

Second, Hersheypark will be making a 4 pack available for purchase. It includes admission, hot cocoa and a game for 4 people. The savings is over $20. I am attempting to get exact pricing and distribution information.

Third, Sweet Lights is a drive through holiday light display that costs $20 per vehicle (discount coupon price not included here). A vehicle is a car, minivan or SUV (per their website definition) up to 8 persons. There is an additional charge for larger vehicles. In previous years they have sold the 3-D cardboard eyeglasses with figures (like they give you at Osborne Lights at MGM Studios at WDW). The ones at WDW are angels, I think Hershey's were Santas, but I have so many of the different types anymore, I don't remember which ones I got where. But, if you already have them at home be sure to bring them with you.

Will post more details as I find out.

Do adults have to pay if they don't want to go on rides?

Thanks for the information. I will look for coupons at Burger Kings and CVS when I get to the Harrisburg area. We are going Dec. 1st and it is an annual tradition in our family. Santa gives great gifts at Hershey. We always manage to see Santa when there are LONG lines, any tips of when to see Santa with the shorter lines? Staying at Harrisburg East at the Entertainment rate. We have stayed at Grantville also but last year it was looking rather worn down. Really trying to enjoy this year because I think it will be the last one where my son still believes! Everybody that enters the park must pay the admission price. We really enjoyed the switch from tickets and found it to be much less expensive. There is a charge for parking.

WOW! We have lived 1.5 hrs from Hershey for the last 4 years and I did not know about this! We will be going this year. It sounds really fun and sweet. This could become a new family tradition for us! I'm so happy that there is a fun, safe Holiday family activity we can do that is actually affordable! We might have to do the lights drive thru too. :santa:
