Does anyone have any recommendations for a nice hotel near Hershey that has a pool bigger than the kitchen sink? We are going the end of June so I need to book soon if it isn't too late. Any info would be appreciated!!

Thanks.:surfweb:

I have stayed at a Country Inn and Suites near Hershey that was pretty nice. Decent size indoor pool and very good continental breakfast (with waffles!). The drive to Hershey Park was about 15 minutes from there.

I've only seen indoor pools at Hershey hotels which have all been small. We've stayed at Marriott Springhill suites both Hershey and Harrisburg. I just did a quick google and noticed that the hilton garden inn has both and indoor and outdoor pool.

The Hershey Lodge has a nice pool complex. The Hotel Hershey is also nice, but more expensive. I believe they've expanded the Hotel Hershey's recently, but I haven't seen it yet.

The Hilton Garden Inn and the Springhill Suites may be more budget friendly. Remember, too, that HersheyPark has the water park now. You could spend a whole day there, weather permitting.

Have fun!

we are huge fans of the willow valley resort in lancaster (it's not the closest, but worth the commute)... great pool areas (three pools, all bigger than the kitchen sink! LOL!) including a 'water park' area (not suitable for teens, better for small fries) with zero entry... it appears pricey, but when you add in the dining plan (yep, they've got one too!) it really works out to be a great price...

i see from your signature that you are used to deluxe resorts... you won't be disappointed in willow valley! (oh, and be sure to stop by the bakery!)

I also recommend the Hershey Lodge. They have great facilities and you can't beat the bus service to the park.

we stayed at the hershey lodge in winter and were *VERY* disappointed in the plain, boring, small, rectangular, long-trek away, indoor pool... and that was supposed to be a highlight of the stay!

Best Western Inn Hershey- we stayed there several years ago. Their pool area was bigger than most and part of it had zero depth entry and also one of those big mushrooms with spraying water.

If this is the Jonestown Road location, it's really only 10 minutes (yes, I timed it). They had the best rates when we went, 4 miles from the park, and very nice, clean hotel, friendly staff.
