Well many stores near me always seem to have a lot of Halloween candy left that goes on deep discount. Maybe there still will be enough to go around and no leftovers for a change.

CBS Evening news did a story on this tonight. According to their story, only 10% of their annual sales are Halloween Candy.

10% is a lot & if everyone buys Halloween Candy Supplies twice you just bumped sales quite a bit with zero advertising dollars

I don't know if this applies to every grocery store but at the one I worked at, the Christmas candy was delivered to our store around mid-late July and we would put it in storage until around mid November. Halloween candy was delivered around Easter-early May.

LOL. We haven't had more than 12 trick or treaters in probably 15 years. Not even a whole bag of candy given out. When I was a kid in the 1960's if a house ran out of candy, they gave every kid a penny to buy their own!

We have been boycotting Hershey since they closed the factory that was about 90 minutes from here.

We were just at Hersheypark and Hershey World two days ago when we saw this story and I told my wife they just need to set aside some of the massive amount of candy there and Halloween is saved.
