Obviously any confined community such as a cruise ship or naval ship is subject to these outbreaks.

I guarantee that they did get quarantined as appropriate. On the positive side, their cruise has NOT been extended because of the outbreak.

These "passengers" wouldn't be missing as much by being confined for 72 hours however.

Except their families and homes and the own comforts of their beds while ill. Being the proud wife of a active duty officer I am sure they would love to be confined for 72 hours on a cruise liner instead of confined on a war ship heading to "war".
