If you would send me a PM with your son's name and address, and let me know who his favorite Disney character is, a DCL postcard will be on the way next week.

They just came back from Disney with MAKE A WISH and stayed at GIVE KIDS THE WORLD.

On their last day, right before they were to board their airplane for the trip home, they had to be ambulanced to a local childen's hospital and the son and father stayed in Ronald McDonald house across the street. They are home safe now, however she has been running a fever for the last 5 days.

This little girl is precious and is only 3, her brother turns 6 in July and it was a trip for him as much for her. He has been shuffled around left and right during his sister's lengthy hospital stays.

He asked his mom why his sister isn't growing up like the girl across the street who is only a few months older. Very sad, and yet he is the nicest little boy you could meet.

During his trip, he became extra fond of Goofy and Mickey, having his face painted like Goofy and also getting Mickey Gloves. A post card just telling him and his sister that they (goofy and Mickey) enjoyed meeting them ... etc.... I am sure would bring lots of joy and excitement.

Thanks a whole bunch, Verandah Man. My twin teens received their postcards from Goofy and Snow White yesterday. They weren't jumping about like little kids, but the ever so slight grin from both of them told me it was well received.

Even at 17 they thought it was pretty cool. Both cards disappeared into their rooms to be put amongst the other cherished memories.


One thing I know about my kids is that if they receive something they like, it goes into their 'chambers'. If not, it usually winds up back on the counter top in the kitchen.


The excitment is mounting!!

Thank you so much Verandah Man! My kids received their postcards from Lilo & Stitch today. They were so thrilled. My son told me he emailed Stitch from the Disney website a couple of months ago and was so surprised that Stitch remembered him. Lilo & Stitch made their day and mine.

we re sailing on the 10July Eastern cruise. I would love to have post cards sent to my 5 year old twin daughter and son. She really likes all the princesses, especially Sleeping Beauty. Her brother is really into Peter Pan right now, especially since the non-animated movie was just released a week ago. It would be great to have a post card for him from Peter Pan.

The children received their postcards from Pluto & Goofy yesterday. They were so excited! That the "dogs" would remember their birthdays made it extra-special.

Can someone help, please? I am so excited that we are finally able to take our kids on the western itinerary on 7/17. Even more exciting is that we are travelling with our best friends in the world -- Jason and I have been friends since BEFORE we were born (our parents were friends then and even when they lost touch, we have remained inseparable for 40 years-- he is a treasure!). Anyway, when we booked this trip in June 2002 we thought it would be our family of four and dear Jason and his wife Chrissy. Since then they have a adopted a sweet, loveable little boy who is now 4 1/2 (my Godson) and they had a baby girl (DH's Goddaughter!) on Jason's 40th birthday -- Happy Birthday, Daddy!!!
Anyway, to make a long story short (okay, so it's too late for that!), I'd love to have a postcard sent to our Godchildren. If possible, I'd also love to have one sent to my DD15 and DS10, who are beyond excited about this adventure!
I hate to sound greedy, though!
Can anyone help?

I had someone mail a postcard for my kids about 2 1/2 weeks from Castaway Cay but, they still have not received it yet. I made the mistake of telling my kids that they would be getting something in the mail concerning our cruise and everyday they run to the mailbox only to find NOTHING!! Anyone know how long it takes to receive it from cc? I am beginning to wonder if they mailed it. We leave in 2 weeks and I so wanted them to get it before the trip! Looks like now they may not get!!
