Here's the Saturday March 6th exercise thread

Hi everyone,
Thought I would start the thread today, as I got an early start. Three miles on the treadmill- 1/2 mile warmup and 1/2 cool-down with jogging the two in between. Today is also my day for weight training, so got that done along with 100 crunches. I like Saturday workouts because I can usually put enough time together to do the workout at my own pace, not rushed in between the other things on the schedule.

I just went to my complexs workout room...and there was no air, it was like 130 degrees in there. So I only lasted a mile on the treadmill before I had to give up...now off to the shower (my family says I stink:p ).
 
I walked 20 minutes on the treadmill and did 10 minutes of weights to help my triceps ;) . It's not much, but it's better than nothing.

I'll try to walk at least 20 more minutes before going out. :)
 
I did a Kathy Smith Lift Weights to Lose Weight 2 workout today - -not really much cardio but a real killer on the muscles. I had to stop it 45 into the 60 mins b/c I needed to shower and be somewhere at 9a.m. guess i didn't get up early enough

i may try to walk my dog later but it's really chilly -- must be tough!
 

I did my 20 minute Pilates this morning! I figured out how to get myself to exercise in the morning! I told myself that I was not allowed to DIS until I did some exercise!! :p
 
I did the 3- mile WATP today for the first time!! Not only did I do the whole thing, I didn't even fall over dead!!:teeth: Ahhh, sweet progress.
 
Wasnt sure if I was going to make my 10,000 steps today. The sun wasnt out for long. However, btwn the raindrops I did get out for 45mins - just enough to make my 10,000 steps
 
I tried my new pilates this morning. It felt GREAT, not like a tough workout. I hope it did some good. :cool:
 
Curves for me this morning. One of the trainers told me, "Now don't take this the wrong way, but you have lost a lot of weight." Like there's a wrong way to take that compliment! :p
 
I wish my meds hadn't made me so tired today because today would have been a beautiful day to go bike riding.

But, all I got done was some Tai Chi warmup. I think I'm going to go pop the DVD in for a few minutes and do a couple more moves, though.
 
I walked for 1/2 hour or so. Does this count? If it does, then I did pretty good this week, cause I walked on 4 different days.
 
I walked a half of an hour in the afternoon, I went just about a mile and a half through our neighborhood, it has some pretty good hills, so I got good walk in. In the evening I did the one mile WATP tape with weights.
