Looking for postcards for my kids We have 6 kids cruising with us...yep 6 Anyone out there willing or able to fill such an order? Were heading out mid-October....first for a short (2 days) stay at WDW followed by our 2nd Disney cruise ...(but the first cruise ever for 4 out of 6 kids)

It would be so nice and a time saver to have postcards stamped and addressed ahead of time. All we would need to do is write a message on them and mail them home.

I've been on a lot of vacations and know getting those cards ready to mail is time consuming. Plus they usually don't arrive back home until you have already returned.

Anyone know where I can find them?

Just to let you know, you can't use US Stamps if you are planning on mailing postcards from Castaway Cay, there is a little post office on CC that you can buy Bahamian stamps. The regular size postcards require 55 cent stamps, and the larger postcards require 65 cent stamps. If you are going to send regular size postcards from Florida, they only require 23 cent stamps, not 37 cent stamps.

I do have plenty of blank DCL postcards that I could send to you if you let me know how many you need. I also have some blank WDW postcards as well.

The kids (okay, and me) are getting really excited for the cruise. They ask to watch the DCL video at least once a day and I happily oblige!

Would love to have them receive a postcard......anyone sailing before Christmas?

I'm taking my 2 children d6 & s4 on their 1st Disney cruise. I think it is a great idea with the postcards.

I would like to request 2 postcards sent to them if possible. Postmark does not matter. We are leaving Oct 15, 2005 on the Disney Magic.

I will also do the same for someone when we get back from our cruise.

cruisin in late Nov. I have 3 kids. DD6, and DS12 & DS10. My DD loves anything princess, of course. And my boys love Johnny Depp, pirates of the caribean ( i do, too). Any way they would love a postcard, and when I ship off I'll do the same. Should I mail the postcards from Castaway Cay or can I mail them from the ship? I just love this site. Thanks, CJ

I would love to send your children post cards. I let them know that the Disney characters will be looking forward to there arrival. Does it matter where the postmark is,because if I mail them from Castaway Cay,they will probably get it before the end of October. If you send me your address and the name of your children I will send them all one. It would also be greatly appreciated if you send my 2 children postcards as a post trip note. Thanks Jane

As a point of information: Postcards mailed from Castaway Cay can take anywhere up to a month, or longer, to arrive back in the States.

I forgot to say THANKS!! Been so busy trying to get ready to leave I can't believe I forgot to tell you thanks for the postcard! The kids really got a kick out of it!! I'll try to pay it forward after we get back from the cruise!!

I don't have little ones, but my 13 and 19 year old sons would be thrilled to receive a post card from CC! I know it can take a month or even longer to receive the card, so if someone cruising soon would volunteer to send them a card, it would so wind them up even more as our first cruise gets closer!
When I cruise this Christmas, I'll be happy to pay it forward!

We are sailing on the Wonder Oct 23rd with our dd5.5 and would love to have another postcard for her this year. We sailed last year in Sept and our 4 day turned into 3 days d/t a hurricane without CC so we are keeping our fingers crossed this year!
