here's the dates how's the crowds?

Tenative plan for February 16th thru February 22nd, staying POFQ, group of 14. 7 kids, 7 adults- range of age is 7 to 63.

My DD7 and DD8 are not new to wdw- we were there in April, 04.

DBIL neices 9 and 13, nephew 15 were there 10 years ago

DBIL DSIL nephews 9 and 13- will be there for 3 days in December- the 14th thru 17th before a Carnival Cruise...never been except this time

DMIL has never been.

The crowds were managable for us in April- but I had done some serious planning, took advantage of EE's and left the parks mid afternoon for pool time.

Whats your thought on this week of travel? I understand most schools will be on vacation- probably heading to WDW on the 19th or 20th...

I've never been there that time of year; however, I will tell you that most of the public schools in the Northeast are on vacation from Feb. 19 to 27. I would guess it is VERY crowded then. My advice would be to do the really popular rides your first few days there and save the 'wandering' and pool time for later in your stay.

That is a hair later than we go but the crowds are nonexistant. We walk right onto the major rides (Spaceship Earth, Safari, etc) walk right into shows with the possible exception of Lion King. I think we went once to Lion King and the crowd was large enough that we left and went back to the next show. The priority seating is we stop at Cindy's castle at lunch for evening meal. We love it. I can't imagine going at a busier time.

ok, now i'm worried after looking at MGM wait times. 1/20/04 looked like much higher wait times than weeks before or after it. Why would that be? If I am missing something important, let me know and I'll rebook for later date.

MLK day late January. Some schools have the whole week off for President's Day in February, but not here of ANYWHERE I have ever lived (and we have moved a lot!)
