I read the other day that you can find the "Horizons" logo somewhere in Mission Space. Did WDI give a tribute in their own way?

I have never been on the ride. I waited for my husband while he road. He wouldn't know the logo if he ran smack-dab into it. If it really is there, does anyone know where? Does anyone have a picture? Any details would be nice.

I'm not sure about the logo but they have a HUGE round space station type thing that in Horizons use to "house" the family. It's in the queue section of MS

I did not know that. I have scene a picture of that. I just did not pay close enough attention I guess.

The Horizons logo is located in the center of the revolving space station.

"Horizons" was lame to the point where you had to love it. What was fun about
it was how really lame it was. I MISS IT! :guilty:

Yes, and the first time I went on Mission Space I spotted it immediately.

Its sad how much better Horizons was than this new spin'n'puke too

I miss the orange smell and the picking which world you wanted to see. I was always the underwater one.

Horizons is probably the one ride I do miss. I could care less about Mr Toad or Dreamflight. But Horizons was peaceful and I do miss the smell of oranges.

Amazing right? I'm not a big fan of M:S. Now I like Test Track, so I don't miss World of Motion.

Bite your tongue! Toad was the man! I really miss that little guy! :sad1:

Who cares about Mr. Toad? That ride was a snoozefest :stir:

Personally I preferred Toad to Pooh.

We rode Toad in DL last month after reading so much hoopla over it being gone in WDW.
Were these rides the same? It did not seem much different to me than the other kiddie rides. :confused3 Wild it was not. ;)

I think that the "Wild" has to do with Mr. Toad's adventure (he does go into hell) rather than the ride you take on it. I remember that it had some sharp-like turns but it wasn't fast or anything.

Hey, go on Soarin'. They moved the "smellitzer" from Horizons to there and fire it up when you pass over the orange groves. :rotfl:

I don't know what it was about Mr. Toad- but I loved that ride! And yes, I was one of those geeks who went to the "Toad-In's" to try and save him. I still have my "Ask me why Mickey is killing Mr. Toad" T-Shirt. Nothing against Pooh- I just wish Disney would have put it somewhere else, how about Snow White? (talk about a snooze fest!) And it was obvious that Toad did have his fans- One lady from Disney management said that she had never seen such a reaction to the closing of a ride before. HELLO! That shoulda told you something then! Oh well, to late now- he's gone!

Toad is still open in DL
