I think I'm finally done with my planning. We will be at MK on Sept 7. Here's what I plan (assuming the weather is PERFECT
)
1. arrive at 8:00 (MK opens at 9 AM that day)
2. the girls in my family head over to meet Rapunzel and maybe Cinderella if there's not a long line
3. the boys in my family will do SDMT (or Buzz Lightyear Ranger Spin if SDMT has a long line already)
4.thinking of trying Enchanted Tales with Belle if not a huge line
5. Winnie the Pooh ride
6. Thunder Mountain
7. it's a Small World
8. Swiss Family Tree House
We have reservations for the CP at 2:15; we'll show up at about 2:00 for that.
We also want to do MSEP and Wishes. I was thinking of maybe doing the FP for those if available. From what I've been reading it sounds like Sept. isn't very busy and if we get at the park for opening people say you can do quite a bit in the first hour or two before long lines start forming. I'm hoping this will be the case for us. Once our rides our out of the way we will enjoy the park just walking around and enjoying the scenery!
Tips I got that I plan on implementing:
- take a picture of my kids the morning of, in case we lose them! We have a 2,7,10 and 13 yr old.
-take a picture of our parking spot
-decorate our stroller to make it easier to fine
-bring cold water bottles and snacks
-bring 2 small spray bottles so should we get hot we can give ourselves a little squirt and (hopefully) that will refresh us for a few minutes
after MSEP head right over to find a spot for Wishes (unless we have the FP for it)
if we have extra time or lines are short we'll plan on doing:
- Haunted House
-Prince Charming Carousel
-Country Bear Show
-Barnstormer
This is a first for my family so I'm hoping it will go smoothly and there will be no rain so we can see the fireworks!
Any suggestions appreciated!
