The first time we heard "Welcome Home" and figured out how much we're saving for hotel, transporation, discounts on food and tickets, not eating every meal in the park, having snacks in the room when you couldn't eat another whole meal, having a tv in the living room and one in the bedroom if there's conflict of tv show interest, seeing the beautiful landscaping no matter what room you have (and being jealous), being able to have a little feeling of privacy while everybody else is in the living room, feeding the ducks from the balcony, taking walks to community hall to get a movie or play some games(OKW, SSR), seeing how interesting and unique each resort is, knowing that in five years from now there will be a bunch of new rides, perks, resorts, and services we'll love to experience.
DVC has truly become something more that just a room to rent. Good luck with your reservation, I'd keep trying. You never know what might suddenly become available. Some people set up two reservations then cancel one at the 30 day mark. My DS3 wants me to add these.
