So here we go again - redundancy is knocking on the door just before our annual Florida holiday
- sadly with just a standard statutory package
Was in this situation 3 years ago and it came good - but I just feel sick at the prospect of letting the family down. DH is determined we go!
I have flights & car booked and paid for as a 'holiday' with BA.
5 days at RPR is 50% paid for
our 10 days at Disney this is booked for Wilderness Lodge with Free dining - with a large outstanding balance.
Even if I opted for a cheaper hotel such as an all-star by the time you add the tickets and pay OOP for food (the highlight of the holiday is the table service bookings for DH) the cost is fairly similar.
Such a quandary - I know only we can make the decision based our own holiday desires but it is hard to express my worries to DH when he is determined all will be ok and has full faith in my ability to sort something out.
Thought I would post on here for a few words of comfort as I know many have been through similar situations.
