Yes in deed. We're going to WDW again. I don't know who's more excited, me or my children (DD8 & DS4). DH is hoping for a side trip to Universal to check out Harry Potter.

We have it narrowed down to 2 possible date.

4/24-5/1
My children do not have the same Spring Break (messed up, I know), so if it's not going to hurt my youngest (he's in PreK), we're going to take him out of school and go.

05/22-05/29
Both of my children finish school on the 21st, so I know this will be no problem.

We are very excited. This is what my children asked for when we asked them what they wanted for their birthdays. And how perfect with both of them being in May (DD 5/1 & DS 5/30).

Our April dates have a strong chance of becoming a Grand Gathering for us. My brother and Mother in Law both want to know which dates we decide on. My son is the only one who has school this week.

I have a P/T conference with my son's teacher Friday. This is when I'm going to ask her how much it will affect him, in class, if we take him out for a week.

Wish me luck.

After this we get to start booking our trip.
The value resorts are more appealing to the kids, so we just have to pick one.
Torn with the dining plan. Quick Service seems easier, but with the regular Dining Plan we can do Character Dining instead of going hunting and waiting in lines for their favorite characters. It looks like we're driving because it will be cheaper to rent a car and buy food & gas than it would be to fly at this point.

So anyway, just wanted to share my news, and looking forward to posting our final dates.

:disrocks:

Just wanted to say congrats on your booking....isn't the whole planning part so exciting :goodvibes. We just went to Disney in December and then last weekend we were down visiting relatives for New Year's and my ILs mentioned that we should all go away for the girl's Springbreak, and then all of a sudden we are planning a Disney trip :cool1: Well I became the sole planner of this trip (which I don't mind) and I am just about done with our plans. We are staying at POFQ (with hopefully connecting rooms) from 3/23-3/29. I am so excited I can hardly stand it....Oh yeah, we were already planning on a Sept trip as well so we can experience F&W Festival and MNSSHP for the first time :woohoo: Have an awesome trip.

I will throw some major sympathy your way b/c we have the same issue. DS and DD are in different schools same district different spring break, he is in pre K too! And our kids get out May 21st. We are going as soon as school gets out, will be there 23rd-30th, so i would pick that week! I hear the crowds aren't too bad, I am just terrorfied of spring break and picking the wrong week and it being massively crowded! Plus May will have Star Wars weekends at DHS and its DH's birthday so I can't top a present like that for him. DD and DS are also into Star Wars so it worked out to be perfect for us.

Yes in deed.

Looks like we're going at the end of April.

I work at a university, and checked many other major universities, and every one I checked are back in classes the week before we're planning to go. And most other schools are taking thier spring breaks the week before or after Easter. So, based on what I've read, Disney should be pretty decent crowd wise this week.

I'm getting all excited as I gather info for our trip. Since my daughter was born I've dreamed of bringing my kids to disney to celebrate their birthdays.
